Discussion: Vector And Turn Analysis Of Observed And Measured Flight Paths

And boy, does this exchange sound like one with a truther, or what?
Rumack: "Captain, how soon can you land?
Captain Oveur: I can't tell.
Rumack: You can tell me. I'm a doctor.
Captain Oveur: No. I mean I'm just not sure.
Rumack: Well, can't you take a guess?
Captain Oveur: Well, not for another two hours.
Rumack: You can't take a guess for another two hours?

By the way, is there anyone on board who know how to fly a plane?

I can...as long as I have this guy sitting next to me:

It really does not take someone who knows how to fly a plane.

Take your little daughter or son to a flight simulator and have them fly into any building at cruising speed. They will succeed easily at the very first try. Nothing is easier than flying a plane at cruise speed and point its nose toward some plainly visible target. Most difficult part would be arriving at a low enough altitude without crashing into something else first. The WTC towers of course do not pose such a great problem there.

There's not even an attempt to analyse the information presented. Confirm it, rebuke it, something ?

Why do you think members of this forum should make such an attempt?

There's not even an attempt to analyse the information presented. Confirm it, rebuke it, something ? Airplane gags ? Oh.
.
Really, that's all anyone can reply to any of the twoofers delusions.
They're all too divorced from reality to stand the scrutiny of reasonable sane people.
There's also the gagging reflex at the more extreme stupidities presented.
Just read any of jammonius' or profanzs' posts to see how unworldly these things get.

First thing to add would be correction of the impact orientation...

http://www.the911forum.freeforums.org/nist-s-ua175-impact-simulation-wrong-t181-135.html#p9326

Why bother when they start the whole thing with a complete irrelevancy as
"The observed speeds of the attack aircraft of September 11, 2001 in New York City were extreme by comparison to the typical speeds of similar aircraft traveling at similar altitudes. The calculated speed for United Airlines Flight 175 (UA 175) is three times greater than the speed recommended for landing approaches of such wide-body airliners toward airport runways that are comparable in width to each World Trade Center tower. The calculated speed for American Airlines Flight 11 (AA 11) was two and one half times greater than the speed recommended for landing approaches of such wide-body airliners."

How is flying at full speed into a big building in any way connected to landing the same plane?

Isn't that the entire purpose of it's existance ?

consistent with an unreported use augmented GPS guided aircraft autopilot systems

True, or not true ? And why, of course.

The link I included highlights serious error with the NIST impact orientation for Flight 175, which should raise a few alarm bells. With an incorrect impact orientation, the entire NIST impact damage assessment is therefore also wrong. Take that forward and the initiation simulation is based on garbage damage assessment data. Not a great state of affairs.

Shiiiiit, maaaaan. That honky muf' be messin' mah old lady... got to be runnin' cold upside down his head, you know?

I would think it would be best to utilize the guy who took the flight training than to depend on magical technology to crash the plane into buildings visible for 50 to 100 miles away. Unless of course the people who stormed the cockpit and killed the pilots were a crack Mossad unit that exited the plane though the wheel wells. Then it would all make sense.

I tried that*. "Exiting the plane thru the wheel wells".
Can't be done.
The wells are outside the pressurized envelope of the plane, and require extensive disassembly with specialized tools to get into from inside the airplane itself, Ahnold's escape in "Commando" not withstanding. :)
.
*The prototype L-1011 had access to the cargo compartments from the cabin area, and the galley, which had the main wheel well compartments for its walls.
The nose wheel area was a separate pressurized box in the forward cargo area.
There were no large access panels to either from inside the airplane. Not needed, as maintenance would be done with the airplane on the ground.
I spent lots of time down there in the forward area, lying on the door to the unfurnished galley area, observing the ground going by as we flew.
