December Stundie nominations

So testing, was and continues to be suspect in terms of what it tells us about our weapons' dependability/reliability.

Says Patrick1000/fattydash, who has zero understanding in any field related to spaceflight, navigation, missile technology, or systems test. But making bald assertions of how reality should work are routine for him. The truly Stundielicious part is:

OF course the more real world type testing we could do, the more testing done that might approximate real world/battle conditions, the more confident we would be and apparently are given programs Mercury/Gemini/Apollo/Shuttle.

Of course - the best way to approximate "real world/battle conditions" for a ballistic missile is to fly manned missions using hardware and profiles ever more different than ballistic missile applications.

Lots of military testing, ICBM related testing going on there, tons of it my friends.

Cap it off with the usual evidence-free hallucination, and another neat little case study in the Dunning-Kruger effect is complete.

Now Patrick helpfully explains that the Apollo program isn't rocket science.

My point was that what is requisite for the understanding of Apollo, is not a knowledge of aerospace sciences as Apollo is not about aerospace science. Rather, Apollo is an ever so transparent phony story that seeks to cover military activities with a series of make believe tales about fighter pilots landing spaceships on the moon.

You can't make this stuff up.

Comment on an article about the discovery of new planets similar to Earth.

Today there is a large debate over the useless torture of Apes, as they are not genetically similar to Humans. The Human Genome project has proven tha dog is man's closest genome relative.

Apparantly there have been a number of breakthrough "studies" as of late...

How many of you are aware that scientific studies have shown crows to be as intelligent as chimps ... and More intelligent than dolphins! It just goes to show you how many of our beleifs are false. I mean, seriously, what a hoot! Crows are amazing! They use tools ... they even bait fish by picking up crumbs and dropping the crumbs in a pond and when a fish comes up to grab a crumb the crow grabs the fish !!!!!

Some days the man is all stundie...

So the set up:
The task force visited the Malda hospital and said that the facility lacks adequate number of doctors and health workers and the hygiene levels were also low. (ANI)

It wasn't a cold, but the unhygienic government hospital -- 26 in six days? No way.

And the pay off:
Hospitals cause more deaths than disease. And that is my professional opinion. And there is also the real possibility of murder.

So, diseases already kill x people.
Diseases in hospitals kill MORE.
But the total that hospitals kill is more than diseases? Really?

Did you catch the bit about "in my professional opinion?" Wonder what that's about...

Because I asked if his statement that babies can not die from the common cold was his professional opinion, ie was he doctor.

Apparently it is.

I wonder what profession he works in?

Late entry.

EdX, pretty much through most of these pages, but here, as an example, claiming that all these references to WTC molten or melted steel, abnormally high temperatures (before the debris pile) are "mistaken". All of them.

All of them are "mistaken". And he knows this because... he's a 9/11 debunker - or something. :D

EdX, further trying to claim that Abolhassan Astaneh-Asl's description of melted steel girders "must be" a typo, even though Astaneh-Asl is on record reporting other WTC steel abnormalities.

According to EdX, Astaneh-Asl really meant to say "I saw [no] melting of girders in World Trade Center." :D

And how does EdX determine this? Because he, Ed, doesn't understand the quote otherwise. :eye-poppi

This is how "debunking" gets done in the 9/11 subforum. They just change the meanings of what people say, or insist that they "didn't really" say it. :D
