Cameron, open neck shirt at the ready, ventures into a Gay Times interview in the aim of dispelling the air of Clause 28 that hangs around the Tories. The following is the result, which begins with a discussion on a EU vote in favour of gay rights. I understand some Tory MEP's voted against it. It is excructiating.

I can't watch 1.50-2.05 without my hands in front of my eyes.

The thing is, I don't think Cameron wants to turn the clock back on gay rights. He's just stuck in a party which comprises a base which is stuck in the 1980's, tailoring his responses to suit them rather than a more progressive society.
