The Constitution explicitly protects contracts; in fact, without such protection, the capitalist system that made this country so wealthy could not exist.

I have no use for a system that ets capitalists abandon their commitment to pay pensions and, at the same time, allows them to use our money to pay for golden parachutes.

The contracts with working people should have more validity than the contracts with the dummies who let a business fail.

If you apply the Constitution, as you do here for the benefit of the moneyhandlers, you should also be screaming "rape" at the way pensions are being abandoned. There is no reason that those who actually create wealth, i.e., labor, should get the short end of the stick while those who gamble with other people's wealth, i.e., investment managers, get protected.

My understanding is that many of those executives who were present or in part responsible for the situation at AIG have already left and that those executives there now turned down offers from other companies under the premise that AIG would honor their contracts. I suppose in the mindset of the communist it's simply more beneficial to have a sacrificial lamb and make someone pay while denouncing everyone as a common "thug" or "punk" instead of rationally looking at the payments in a case-by-case basis, no instead it's simply much better to tax as a form of punishment. Or, for that matter, respecting the law and the constitution of the United States.
