What if someone does “mess with Joe?” Biden issued a warning shot to elected officials who might stash the cash instead of using it correctly.
“If governors were to take the money and put it in a rainy day fund instead of creating new jobs, we will expose that,” he said stating that he will go on TV and call them out.

Public

How can the public know that the money is allocated correctly? That’s the question CBS’s Maggie Rodriguez asked.

“We’re going to put every bit of this transparently up on a website. You’re gonna know. You’ll be able to go on a website. Every single bit of this will be on a website,” he explained.

What website?

“You know, I’m embarrassed. Do you know the website number?” he asked looking offstage. “I should have it in front of me and I don’t. I’m actually embarrassed.”

He was able to get the website “number” from someone off camera.

“Recovery.gov. It’s Recovery.gov. It’s up and running,” he said with newfound confidence.
I'm surprised he didn't have the number on his RaspBerry.

One of my lefty friends tried to tell me that this was no big deal but I put him in his place by saying if George W. Bush had done this the liberal mainstream media would have been all over him.

I showed him real good.

I'm appalled. Apparently some stupid moron working for Biden didn't even bother remembering one measly little IP address.

Can anyone tell me which one of the internets this is on? I plan on using the google to look it up and I don't want to waste my time on the wrong one.

From the official White House blog (seems everyone but me has a blog these days. I checked with my cats and they have one...) - Biden yesterday on the Recovery Act Transparency and Accountability Board:
I literally hit the ceiling when I saw that.

Biden's on a roll.

...with a little lettuce, mayo, maybe a slice of tomato; sounds delicious...

Unfortunately, the (modern) definition and usage of "literally" have opened up this little Pandora’s box of confusion regarding the word.

I, too, find the frequent improper use of "literally" annoying.

Unfortunately, few people care.

This was sort of my reaction too, but the thread was started by BPSCG who tends to have interesting things to say and who I intend to agree with on economic issues at least. So I gave the thread another shot and reread it.

So now that I have reread the thread and looked for more meaning:

*yawn*

Maybe Biden can find the web site's number by using "the Google."

He embarassed himself further by saying "I ask.commed around and couldn't find anything".

He also keeps asking his colleagues if they're on Friendster.

I'm not sure how wise it is to start a "Your guy said something stupid" contest if you're a Republican.
