After once being caught not paying her taxes, and blaming it on the stress of a death threat letter she received (which by her own account she received AFTER she neglected to pay her taxes), and after being caught on camera taking a bribe and stuffing the cash in her bra, Dem whacktard state senator Dianne Wilkerson was sentenced to 3 1/2 years for corruption.

I was with you right up until you started listing other corrupt Democrats in what could only be some bizarre attempt to pretend that corruption only occurs on one side of the aisle.

I in no way believe that corruption is on one side of the aisle, BUT

1) The Mass Legislature is overwhelmingly Dem, so just by % it's going to be skewed that way

2) I don't recall seeing you foster similar complaints about balance in all of the "Teabagging Wacktard" posts that flood these pages.

Corruption is bad no matter who does it. It just so happens that I live in a state where the last 3 Speakers were all Dems and were all indicted/found guilty and where the two biggest FBI corruption stings in the state were both against Dem legislators.

It's not my fault that there haven't been similar ones that have netted repbulicans YET.

They are all from Mass. and all have been in the news here lately. Of course Repubs are corrupt as well but in a state that is laden with Dems a disproportionate amount of corrupt pols are Dems.

You fail statistics forever.

Now in all fairness statistics can be a complicated topic. Confounding factors, semi dependent variables, non-normal distribution there is a reason we have professional statisticians.

However even someone not ah skilled in the art can generaly spot the problems with a non random, n=5 sample from an unevenly distributed population.

From what I've seen the "teabagging whacktard" threads that so incense you - and which this thread was clearly meant to be a response to - focus on the individual and don't try to imply all Republicans or conservatives are "teabagging whacktards".

Are you denying you intended this thread as a smear on Democrats in general?

Yes I am denying that. I intended this thread as an honest comment on a group of specific corrupt Democrats.

Are you defending the corruption or just deflecting attention from it? Do you condemn it when it comes from a Dem or are you just into tu quoque arguments?

And actually, if you read what I wrote in the other threads, your middle school insults don't incense me at all. To quote myself, they say a lot more about the person using the term than they do the target.

Your confusion continues. I've never once offered a "middle school insult" (I assume you're talking about the pejorative "teabagging whacktard").

But the fact that you so casually lumped me in with those that do kind of undermines your denial that you would smear as a whole a group with whom you ideologically disagree.

A tu quoque is where you try to argue that something is acceptable or normal because someone else also did it, or distract from the wrongdoing because someone else did it. Nowhere does johnny imply that what those Democrats you listed was acceptable.
