Indeed I do. I don't participate in a ....onavirus-start thread and I'm not sure that I'd expect anything valuable from the UK Express in any case.

Not a lot there for a non-virologist like myself, any tech links would leave me behind by the end of the synopsis.
But my gross understanding is that the genetic techniques to lab create any new virus woud be blatantly obvious and expert after expert has stated that they're not there with C19.
I'm happy to be corrected.

Hard to say. It's also not just about if the virus is artificial or not. For me it's mostly if the virus escaped from the lab, or not, even if it was natural.
The lab in Wuhan was build to study the coronaviruses and prevent future SARS-like pandemics, so it would be ironic if it actually helped in the spread.

Anyway, it's up to the lady to actually prove stuff, and unfortunately she doesn't seem able to prove anything.

Looking at the Express blather again... between her paper's title, their paraphrasing (?) of her general claim, and their breathless web headline... at this point, I'm not sure what the **** she's claiming. [emoji53]
I'll shut the hell up and maybe our intrepid Kiwi will enlighten us. Not gonna hold my breath.

my favorite one is where it was deliberately released by the powers that be to reduce the surplussed populous, we are running out of space and we will no longer be able to feed the world population so they released something that was supposed to kill indiscriminately

This is my understanding too.
The genome has been sequenced, and any man-made alterations or additions would have shown up.

Just to ask... is there a particular reason why you're treating JollyRoger as if he had presented that as if he believed that it was true? He didn't, after all.

Just to poke at something from the wiki that likely needs to be kept in mind -

That makes it very strongly look like disinformation for political purposes.
