Cont: Corona Virus Conspiracy Theories Part V

The armed insurrection occurred in same universe where the safety and efficacy of vaccines is a settled science. You should drop by for a visit sometime.
Oh, really? Well, you might want to talk to the thousands of scientists and doctors, along with members of Congress and child-safety advocacy groups, who have presented evidence of serious problems with certain vaccines. I bet you still have not read any of the sources I've recommended in previous replies on this issue. No, because your mind is so locked shut on this issue that you can't bring yourself to read the other side.

Did the universe you inhabit happen to catch the news, just last month, that the government agreed to pay $2.5 million in compensation to someone who suffered a serious side effect from one of the COVID vaccines? Are you aware that this is just one of six COVID-19 vaccine injury awards made in the two-month period between Dec. 2, 2024, and Feb. 1, 2025? Oh, let me guess: your corporate and liberal news sources have said nothing about this, right?

Did the universe you inhabit catch any of the news about the fraud that was going in with the government's vaccine adverse-reaction reporting system, VAERS? Did you catch the news about the FOIA-released documents that proved that VAERS was markedly under-reporting adverse reactions? Any clue?

How about the revelations from the V-Safe data based on the CDC's own data? How about the information revealed by CDC whistleblower Dr. William Thompson? Any clue? This is all news to you, right?

What was going on in your universe when the Johnson & Johnson COVID vaccine was paused and then discontinued in the U.S. because so many people were suffering "rare" serious side effects from it? Before the vaccine was discontinued, the FDA felt compelled to issue a warning about it. Even your corporate and liberal news sources reported on this development.

This should not have been too shocking, given J&J's safety record with some of its other products. In 2018, a St. Louis jury awarded nearly $4.7 billion in damages to 22 women and their families who claimed the carcinogenic asbestos in J&J talcum powder caused their ovarian cancer. In 2020, J&J agreed to pay more than $100 million to resolve more than 1,000 lawsuits blaming its baby powder for causing cancer.

How about the study done by a former Yale epidemiology professor? FYI:

In an article in The Federalist which has been ignored by the major media, a Yale School of Medicine Professor Emeritus of Epidemiology has suggested that during the years 2021 to 2023, 600,000 excess deaths in the US are unaccounted for and are very possibly caused by the COVID vaccines. At the same time, prestigious medical journals are breaking their own rules for the publication of science articles, and censoring debate over a study, of which Dr. Risch is a co-author, which asserts that, based on autopsies, up to 74% of post-COVID-vaccine "sudden deaths" are due to the vaccines.

Professor Harvey Risch, MD: "Big Pharma Still Won’t Come Clean About The Covid Shot’s Deadly Side Effects".

Care to talk about the "safety" of the anthrax vaccine? I was in the Army when that vaccine was mandated (luckily, I was in a training unit for my last three years, and training units were last on the list to get the vaccine). I personally knew three friends who suffered serious side effects (a large rash on the head that never went way in one case and a noticeable decline in short-term memory in two cases). Have you not read anything about how the DoD was pushing military doctors not to report adverse reactions to the anthrax vaccine? The DoD even resisted establishing an active surveillance program to document adverse reactions to the vaccine. Surely you've heard that the DoD has had to pay out millions in claims due to serious side effects from the anthrax vaccine? No? Nada in your universe?

I'm still waiting to hear about this "armed insurrection against the government." The closest thing to such an event was the 2020 BLM rioting in dozens of cities where rioters took over parts of cities, caused dozens of deaths, caused hundreds of injuries, caused billions of dollars in damage, attacked police stations, shut down traffic for days in some cities, etc.

Surely you can't be referring to the January 6 riot, where a few thousand protestors, 99% of whom were unarmed, entered the Capitol building, the vast majority of whom did no damage and assaulted no police officers? Not one police officer was killed on January 6, whereas dozens of people died in the BLM riots.

Citing The Federalist? Lol

Right winger Laura Loomer reveals she struggles eating out because she believes everything smells and tastes weird.
Suggests the food has changed. She had a "brutal" case of Covid last September.

That is the contradiction in terms of MAGA's pandemic minimizers:
COVID-19 is NOTHING! It's no worse than .... [Whatever you can think of] vs. COVID-19 is a Chinese bioweapon!
We are MAGA! We can do both!

I pity Loomer. She didn't even get the vaccine before getting infected.
Maybe some day we will see her use the words Long Covid and PASC. (She already talks about "long term effects from COVID." I don't think that all her fans would approve of that.)
Will we also see her want her party to be held accountable for minimizing the pandemic?
And will she want the pandemic minimizers to get punished, too?

Not only is this article in Skeptic bloody awful, it sides with the Covid minimizers and the conspiracy nuts!

Covid Conspiracies and the Next Pandemic (Skeptic, May 1, 2025)
Nothing exemplifies the more nuanced nature of Covid conspiracy theories than the lab leak debate. Was Covid a case of zoonotic emergence, centered on a wet market in Wuhan, or an accident involving the Wuhan Institute of Virology? According to previous assessments by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, some parts of the U.S. Intelligence community favored one theory, some favored the other, while some were undecided. Then, on April 18, 2025, www.covid.gov and www.covidtests.gov were both redirected to a new White House website titled “Lab Leak: The True Origins of Covid-19.”
They were indeed redirected to a new White House website - after the conspiracy nuts had taken over the U.S. government!
Particularly in the early days of the pandemic, the lab leak hypothesis was portrayed as a crazy conspiracy theory and was seen by many as being a rightwing dog whistle, along with any mention of Sweden’s more laissez-faire policies, the Danish Mask Study, and much more besides.
The author, Nick Pope, posted a link to the article on X, April 2, 2025.
Interesting thread. I replied to Nick Pope's OP:

"... any mention of Sweden’s more laissez-faire policies, the Danish Mask Study..."
The 🇩🇰 mask study was worthless. The authors said so!
As for 🇸🇪's herd-immunity-by-infection strategy:
🇩🇰🇫🇮🇮🇸🇳🇴 weren't 'laissez-faire' until post-💉💉 and did much better:

Other replies from e.g. Jonathan Howard of We Want The Infected and Science-Based Medicine fame.
I particularly like this one with a quotation from the article:

"Obesity as a risk factor was hardly discussed."

We have seen obesity being blamed for C19 deaths several times in the ISF threads about the pandemic.

Here's a gloriously mad conspiracy theory from the one and only. There's video.

*I hope this link is ok to post, if not can a mod please do their thing
Not a new claim. There were similar claims in 2021, but here's one debunk from 2 years ago that references "experiments" similar to what Icke describes.

At Science-based Medicine, David Gorski wrote, "A decade ago, germ theory denial was largely viewed as no more than a “curiosity,” a quirky idea held by few and likely not of much consequence or likely to cause much harm. Few other than those of us who recognized how such denial fueled the antivaccine movement recognized it as a problem. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic has made it very clear how deadly such ideas are."

But unfortunately, the pandemic hasn't made it clear enough for the people who subscribe to those ideas, and C19 brain fog didn't help.

The coronavirus conspiracists have begun to appeal to AIs - and it's hilarious to see the results:

I might be slow one, specially these days, but they warn us, that the vaccine to prevent severe outcome of covid-19 which is not dangerous for anyone under 65 years can have side effects of myocarditis for people around 20-30 years?
Martin K. on X, July 1, 2025
@Grok explain it to me as I would be 5 years old
Grok on X, July 1, 2025
Imagine your body is like a castle, and vaccines are like shields to protect it from a bad germ called COVID. These shields work really well to keep most people safe from getting very sick. But, for some young guys, the shield might make their heart feel a little sore, like a bruise. This is rare and usually gets better, but doctors are checking to make sure it’s safe. They think the shield helps more than it hurts, but they’re still learning about it. If you’re worried, talk to a grown-up or doctor!
Martin K. on X, July 1, 2025
Does someone below 65 years needs this shield? They are not in danger.
Grok on X, July 1, 2025
For those under 65, mRNA COVID-19 vaccines reduce severe illness risk, especially for people with conditions like heart disease or diabetes. Healthy individuals face lower severe COVID-19 risk, but vaccines still offer protection, with 93% effectiveness against hospitalization (The Lancet, 2021). Myocarditis is a rare side effect, mainly in young males (38 cases per million doses, FDA), with most cases resolving quickly. The CDC supports vaccination for most adults, while the FDA leans toward high-risk groups. Healthy under-65s may see less need due to low risk, but community immunity benefits remain. Consult a doctor for personalized advice.
He does not limit himself to asking questions. He actually tells Grok - twice! - what kind of answer he wants, i.e. that people under 65 shouldn't get vaccinated because vaccinations are dangerous for people under 65 and getting Covid isn't.
And Grok corrects him - twice! It even corrects his idea that people in their twenties should be more worried about the risk of getting myocarditis from the vaccines than about the risk of getting C19. :)

The poor antivaxxers just can't help themselves. They can't stop asking Grok for answers they don't like!

When your attempts to get @grok to join in insulting me goes wrong

Notice that Grok even corrects misconceptions included in the question! In this case, the alleged "fact that this man is an imbecile."
But even this doesn't stop them! There are new examples in the thread after Neil Stone's tweet.
For instance,
warren white on X, July 7, 2025
@grok are mRNA shots vaccines by historically accepted definitions? How do mRNA shots differ from vaccines? Are mRNA shots experimental, are the long term effects known?
Grok on X, Jay 7, 2025
Yes, mRNA shots meet historical vaccine definitions by eliciting an immune response to a pathogen's antigen, per sources like Britannica and CDC.
They differ from traditional vaccines by delivering genetic instructions for cells to produce the antigen, rather than introducing it directly—faster to develop, non-infectious.
By 2025, they're not experimental; fully approved with billions of doses. Long-term effects are monitored; data show rare serious issues, no major unknowns after 5+ years.
And once they get going, they just can't give up - much like The Atheist when he claimed that all C19 deaths were people who were already wearing toe tags, i.e. the 'dry tinder' idea or, as Grok calls it, the "harvesting effect":
warren white on X, July 7, 2025
@grok Millions of elderly & compromised died from COVID. Shouldn’t we expect a big drop in mortality in post covid years? Why instead have there been millions of excess deaths beyond normal?
Grok on X, July 7, 2025
The "harvesting effect" from COVID deaths of vulnerable people is real but temporary and outweighed by ongoing factors: long-term COVID damage (e.g., heart issues), delayed healthcare for other diseases, mental health crises, and population aging. Per WHO and CDC data, excess deaths persist globally at 5-10% above normal in 2023-25, mostly indirect pandemic effects—not vaccines, which saved millions of lives.
Guiseppe Palombo on X, July 7, 2025
"—not vaccines". Grok's elegant way of telling you: "Okay, stop talking ignorant ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊, moron"

I'm surprised that Musk hasn't banned Grok from X yet!
There are many more examples in the thread! The antivaxxers are flocking to it, and they are getting their asses kicked! :)
