Corbyn did win, what's next?

@ Craig B Can you explain or will you just ignore my post as your usual practice

And could you get Francesca to comment on that rather than you. I would prefer a debate with the source rather than one of my favourite leaders of the debate

Me?

No. Why........has your PM function packed up?

The UK (Bank of England) has not printed money so that government can spend.

(Well it has, in the 17th and 18th century, that's what it was originally created to do, so that Britain could fight wars. But not in the last century I think)

Thanks for your opinion.

You believe time travel is possible! :jaw-dropp

I believe you're engaging in some fairly hefty mental gymnastics in order to justify the candidate for the second highest office of state saying that if it were possible he would have assassinated the democratically elected prime minister of this country because his own party had such a ***** track record in power and were in such disarray and unelectable that it really was the only way he could see of subverting the democratic process. Oh and it was a joke, yeah I get it. haw haw haw.

Trump jokes about women menstruating. Does that make him fit for high office also?

He said that, did he? "This is the only way I can see of subverting the democratic process"?

It's you that seems to think it indicates a serious intent to kill someone. Since what he proposed was and is impossible it seems hard to see it not as a light hearted comment.

Nope but then no one has argued that the Shadow Chancellor is fit for high office because he made a joke.

Did the Shadow Chancellor make disparaging comments about Thatcher because of her being a women. Or were his jokes about matters specific to her biological femininity? Is it misogynistic to attack a woman politician, on the grounds that such a criticism is a disparagement of a woman?

Thatcher attacked all kinds of male "wets" for being "frit". Was she then a misandrist?

Calm down dear.

Or the Prime minister unfit because he made one.

He is unfit for lots of other reasons.

Technically... there's been this wonderfully named account in BoE called ways and means advances which the government has used for some short time spending in advance of receipts.

Chuka ummana sums up what happened:

"He also shoulders some blame for misreading the public mood and relying on factual evidence and rational argument. “It wasn’t wrong, but we [modernisers] failed to engage with the emotion. "

Sorry, who's "he"?
