Can I point out the obvious? The video linked in the OP and discussed in the other thread is edited; the initiation of the collapse is omitted, giving the impression of rapid freefall followed by deceleration.

The easiest way to compare the two videos is observe the rate at which the roofline falls. Put your cursor at the top right corner of the roof and see how the roofline dips below this point. In the OP video, you can't see it fall the first portion of the descent, whereas it is smooth and gradual in the other video.

Mangoose, I think the Dr. G and others are using both videos for their measurements. Freefall is smooth and gradual...
