... has anyone seen this movie?

I went to see it Friday and I have to say I enjoyed it. If you haven't heard of it, it is a documentry on Al Jazeara during the Iraqi war. Little commentary in it, lots of footage of reporters in Centcomm chatting. I can't say it is unbiased cause I don't know what they don't show, but I enjoyed the movie and the viewpoints of the people in it.

I recommend seeing this. Look for it to come by a movie theatre or on video. I am also curious as to other peoples opinion of the movie.

I'll start off by being on-topic.

I think A-J, for all its faults, could be a force for good in the Middle East. I always think it's a good sign when just about every country in a region is hacked off with a newsagency. It still has a lot of problems, some major ones which need to be worked out, but Rome wasn't built in a day.

Off-topic.

What film is the Daniel Auteuil pic in your avatar from?

One thing I would like to see is how Al-Jazeera covers other wars. The reporters are of course defenders of the stations style, one can hardly know how jaded there reporting is with out more comparisons. They do show some graphic stuff (and some shows up in Control Room - so consider yourselves warned.)
