Is this fundraiser a joke? I mean... is it just to take the piss out of A+? Because I cannot imagine a serious fundraiser doing so poorly. I managed to raise more money than that to sponsor me to run an obstacle course.

When your mission statement as an organization is to alienate anyone with a net worth over $50, this is the likely outcome.

Oh hey, I think I found their fundraising problem.

It seems Aplusser AlexandriaSenachai drained the financial well before she set up that fundraiser.

Yep, 20K+ in debt and still working in that gender studies degree with dear old dad dropping some pretty serious hints that someone should get it together and move out.

For added lulz, check out the dreamcatcher earrings in the photo at the link. There's a term for that and it's initials are CA.

CA?

She (or ze/we/wir/?) would be better off raising money for a psychiatrist.

One wonder if the "fundraiser" for A+ was actually for her (wir/quir/tir/?)?

Cultural Appropriation. See Apluss' thread on white people with dreadlocks, they hate it when white people rock the "ethnic" look.

Wow. That's just... wow. Her (gurr, spurr, bleurr) definition of oppression by her parents is exactly the same as that of a teenager whose parents won't buy them expensive sneakers.

...

I am speechless.

I wonder if white girl got a special dispensation from NoGodsNoMasters for those earrings.

I still can't get over the fact that the catalyst for this appeal for free money is that she didn't do the dishes.

Well, the really disgusting part is that she's appealing for pity-donations (so she can have $2000 in the bank just in case she needs it) by trying to present herself as one of those queer teenagers in danger of being homeless because her parents are so homophobic they might kick her out onto the streets if they find out... except they already know, they just didn't find it as dramatic and fascinating as she does. Somehow, to her this becomes an ominous sign that if they find out that she's not only queer, but "genderqueer," they'll really roll their eyes and tell her to get a job freak out.

It's so weird how many people seem to think it's impossible to get PTSD from cyberbullying.

I don't think it is impossible to get PTSD from cyberbullying. However, I question it in someone who has an apparent need for everyone to look at them all the time. I question it especially in someone who is known to bully people. If you behave badly online, you should not be surprised if people respond negatively to you.

I'm willing to go with the psychologist and her psychiatrist on the question of whether people can be so rattled by online messages as to develop symptoms of C-PTSD or other anxiety disorders.

As to whether she tends to attract negative attention online, well, that's not remotely in doubt. When you demand a boycott because someone might just possibly have made fun of your condition in one tweet, you should expect pushback from supporters of the person whom you are trying to professionally destroy.

That she actively seeks out instances where people tweet about her certainly indicates a problem.

That she is someone who actively seeks attention online also leads me to question her veracity about her diagnosis.
