Continuation Part 20: Amanda Knox/Raffaele Sollecito

Nope. I was always teacher's pet. :o

Not really. Your assumption is based on (a) Mez wasn't one of the 10% of the population who has a full meal sitting in their stomach undigested hours after the meal, (b) there was no reason for nerves to cause her digestion to stop, and (c) that just because the last call was at 22:13, she must have been dead then. It is just as feasible confiscating her phones was part of the bullying she was subjected to by her party-going perps, who lay in wait for her outside the cottage, as reported by Kokomani (sure, his testimony in court was self-sabotaged, but he definitely was factually at the cottage between 22:00 and 22:30).

There really is no hope for you. Koko didn't know what Amanda looked liked. Gap in teeth..? He also said he met Amanda with a non existent Italian uncle while Amanda was still I the US.
And you still can't explain why her phone connected to the Ponte Rio base station at 10:13. An antenna 10 times the distance as the two antennas that handled all the other traffic at the cottage.

Kokomani only came out with that crap at the trial. He was heavily disguised, is now known to have been involved in serious international organised crime (cocaine); at the trial, he pretended to not speak a word of Italian, and wilfully misunderstood what his interpreter said to him. It is very obvious that in the interim he was reminded of his duty of omerta to his Albanian mafia family. No doubt they were terrified the entire drug ring would be busted as a result of his co-operating with the police (cocaine as a global commodity is one of the most lucrative known).

But you knew all this, didn't you?

I have no idea why. Most likely it was in Ms Lana's garden.

Probably passing through. He was convicted 2009 of cocaine smuggling, so likely stayed with druggie contacts when in Perugia.

Maybe he had a place south or east of the cottage...that would possibly use the same cell tower...somewhere for the phones to be at 22:00.

Go back and read the studies. AFTER ONE HOUR which would make it 7:30 by the birds' accounts most everyone would have chyme in the duodenum. By 9 everyone except a very ill person would have some. By ten only a dead person wouldn't have any.

Carbs digest the fastest. You know like pizza crust and apple crisp.

Complete stomach emptying can take up to five hours, Dr. Richard Bowen of Colorado State University explains. Digestion begins in the mouth, where your teeth break up large food particles and enzymes in saliva start to break it down. In the stomach, food mixes with strong acidic gastric juices and enzymes that break down protein. This reduces food to chyme, a porridge-like mass of partially digested food. Food does not necessarily exit the stomach in the same order that it arrived, since different nutrients take varying times to exit. Carbohydrates leave the stomach the quickest, followed by protein and fats.

Clear now?

By your own account digestion can take up to five hours.

Pizza dough, being derived from wheat, like bread and pasta, is a complex carbohydrate with a high glycaemic index. This means that, unlike simple carbohydrates - sucrose, fructose and glucose - the blood sugar doesn't peak immediately but provides energy at a more steady state. This is because unlike the latter, it doesn't immediately enter the blood stream, because it takes longer for your body to break it down.

People who are gluten intolerant have trouble digesting it at all.

Oh give me a break. Koko was there at 7:50....what's he doing there at 9:40? His car was in the driveway at 7:50, where is at 8:55 when Meredith came home? Koko's a liar.

There is no way she was alive at 11. It is not likely she lived past 9:30. Rudi's timing of 9:15-20 works great for everything except it gives the kids an alibi and eliminates most of the PG scenarios. It makes Nara's and Monacchia's testimony moot.

Only alcohol immediately enters the bloodstream.

Food begins to enter the duodenum withing 30 minutes to 60 minutes. The stomach is typically half empty after 2 hours. Nine thirty was 3 hours after the meal started by all bird accounts.

How do you know when and where he was? He was there alright as Rudi's wheel man.

The breakdown car did happen between 22:00 and 22:30 1st Nov 2007. One car contained, a man, woman and child. A car mechanic reported seeing a dark car parked inside the cottage drive.

Phone records show Kokomani was in the region on both 31st October and 1st November. (See attached.)

He recounted to police details of the breakdown car which ATT was unknown to the public.

As a cocaine smuggler, he almost certainly was there to supply illegal drugs.

Ah yet more scientific illiteracy from a pro-guilt ARGUMENT!

1) Digestion and motility (or "intestinal transit") are two different things. Digestion refers to the process related to the breakdown and absorbing of food; motility is the passage of food through the gastrointestinal system.

2) Motility of food from the stomach into the duodenum (and beyond) is usually COMPLETE within 5 hours. That is to say, a meal eaten at 12pm has usually entirely exited the stomach (such that the stomach itself would be totally empty, provided that no other food had been consumed since) by 5pm. But that's entirely irrelevant to our case: the time period we're interested in is the time when food first STARTS to exit the stomach. A medium sized meal can typically take 1-3 hours from start to finish to exit the stomach. In Kercher's case, none of her meal had yet started to leave her stomach, let alone all of it.

3) Motility is only very loosely related to tolerance or inability to process certain proteins (e.g. gluten intolerance or lactose intolerance). Tolerances etc are a DIGESTION issue, not a motility issue. If a person with gluten intolerance eats, say, a slice of bread, that bread is still broken down and liquefied in the stomach in the normal way, and passed through to the duodenum and small intestine in the normal way, but the small intestine is then unable to process the gluten (which then passes out of the body in excrement).

4) Motility through and beyond the stomach has little or nothing to do with glycaemic indices of carbohydrates. All carbohydrates are simpler molecular structures than proteins or fats, and all carbohydrates are thus processed more quickly by the stomach (and exit the stomach first). Simple sugars in liquid form (e.g. a can of coke) will be processed very quickly owing to the suspension of the sucrose in water, but so will a more complex carbohydrate in liquid or semi-liquid form such as porridge. In short, glycaemic indices have pretty much nothing to do with this discussion, and it's an illustration of the illiteracy of the ARGUMENT that they were ever brought up at all.

5) If ARGUMENTS are going to be made on medical/physiological issues in relation to this case, please could they be based on proper scientific facts and knowledge, and with the commensurate level of intellectual rigour? Thank you in advance for your cooperation and adherence to those principles, pro-guilt commentators.

You are thinking of substances that pass through the brain stem. Alcohol is one such substance - with almost immediate effect (drunkeness) - and the other, actually, is glucose, as I said. Apart from one or two synthetic drugs and psychotropic substances, such as cannabis or LSD, no other molecule gets past the blood-brain barrier, other than glucose or alcohol.

Simple sugars, including those that ferment, burn energy immediately. Complex carbohydrates, such as pizza, does not.

I am sure Mez was hazed as soon as she arrived home. She was likely held captive audience to her deranged tormenters, until it came to a head circa 22:00 to 22:30.

The following images are of a broken down car and tow truck that were parked outside the Amanda Knox cottage between 10.45pm and 11.25pm on November 1, 2007. The mechanic and occupants of the broken down car and their friends who were parked in a second car heard no noises or screams coming from the cottage or noticed anything out of the ordinary.

The people in the broken down car are rather important. Their presence more-or-less guarantees that the murder cannot have occurred at any time between 10.30pm and 11.30pm. They provided reliable testimony that the cottage was in complete darkness and silence for the whole time they were there (during most of which time one or more of them was standing outside the car, within a couple of dozen yards of the cottage), and that nobody entered or exited the cottage.

And their *inconvenient* (for the prosecution and convicting court) presence was one of the driving reasons for Mignini's ludicrous and improper last-minute change of ToD to something around 11.40pm. I am still of the firm opinion that an fully on-the-ball defence team should have been able to leap upon this - even with very short notice - to show the court just how impossible (not just improbable, but impossible) a ToD of 11.40pm was.

Unless of course, it is implicating the black man, then it is incontrovertible proof - or at least according to the racist slime known as Friends of Amanda

Making sweeping generalisations is a logical fallacy. Undoubtedly some will be, and just as likely, some won't be.

The problem is, the American public has been fed such a load of misinformation, it's no surprise they perceive Amanda as some kind of hero figure, like an archetypal "damsel in distress", so popular in Hollywood movie scripts.

Problem is, Rudy's DNA was not found inside the bag (purse), which it almost certainly would have been, had he been rummaging around with blood stained hands. [...]
Problem is, the inside of the purse wasn't tested for DNA, except for some: "materiale granulare di colore giallo-marrone":

Edited to comply with rule 5

So your (and Guede's btw) argument is a non-argument...

As Kokomani was able to describe the scene of the breakdown car and the tow truck, he was clearly there, as ATT, that was a detail known only to those present.

The breakdown driver and tow truck driver were most likely concentrating on their job.

Kokomani was in the association of Rudy, Amanda and Raff (or substituted them for Daniele and Giacomo, if GQ is to be believed) and thus more aware of what was going on in the cottage ("A birthday party for a friend" ~ Rudy).

He made a police statement the three were hiding behind the bins, seemed drugged, and threatened him with knives.

A third party mechanic, Gianfranco Lombardo, also witnessed a dark car in the drive, which substantiates Kokomani's eye witness statement.

The garage camera , the cell ping and Rudy's diary. Yes, Koko may have been there to help Rudy in some way. Rudy says he arrived at the cottage and says that a drug dealer friend of his is parked at the cottage gate with its lights on and sure enough thegarage camera captures Rudy's arrival and there is a car there with its lights on. And it's not there when Meredith came home.

Koko departed for Albania shortly after the murder. He came back and with a lawyer went to see Mignini. He was part of the burglary with Rudi and maybe a third man. He knew his phones were pinged and wanted to be sure he took the first step.

It's possible he killed Meredith but more likely Rudi other accomplice - the same guy that broke into the lawyers' office and fronted the loot to Rudi. A member of the Albanian gang trained as a commando and used his training to put a knife through Meredith's neck.
