Conspiracy Theory at Work:

Kevin Barrett is certainly getting the word out during his campaign that he thinks the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks were an inside job aided by the Bush administration.

Barrett, who is running for Congress in western Wisconsin, first outraged conservative talk-show types by talking about his ideas in the classrooms of UW-Madison.

Now, he's got a poll that shows at least few others believe him.

He commissioned a poll that found 22 percent of the people living in households with two registered voters in the Third Congressional District think Sept, 11 might have been an inside job.

Barrett and his followers are like flat earthers, they believe a lie and are wrong. Barrett is a terrorist apologist, a flat earth like preacher of woo, a 9/11 dolt. He sure has a lot of hearsay and lies. Beyond that, people do dumb things, Barrett has dumb ideas, some people lack knowledge and fail to think for themselves. If polls were right Al Gore would be president.

There are dumb ideas, and people dumb enough to believe them. Good example of dumb people believe lies due to ignorance.

Why is this in 9/11 CT? What is your point? That there are dumb ideas and people like you, who apologize for the terrorist?

Not sure, we've got a lot of clowns in Washington, clowning to the tune of trilllion dollar bailouts.

:jaw-dropp

leave you politics in the other forum, present evidence on 9/11; you are pure evidence free, better than ivory soap

you the same evidence as barrett, the empty set

So let's replace one set of clowns with a even worse set of clowns.
I have a lot of nasty things to say about the way that Washington is ran..by both parties...but sending a bunch of total loons like Barett to congress will makes things much, much, worse.

Hey, whatever happened on Barrett's trip to Morocco to find a living hijacker?

:dl:

22% think it MIGHT be an inside job?

I'd need to see the wording of what they were responding to before I decide how pathetic this is. Hell, I could answer yes OR no depending on how it was phrased. "is it hypothetically possible..." "is it quite likely..." ??

Wow...22%...that means 78% (the majority) disagree. Is that victory in truthworld?

I could go on the street today with a poll phrased like this and probably get 95%

Do you:

- Believe that there was nothing that Bush could have done to prevent 9/11?

- Believe that there was a chance that Bush knew 911 would happen and didn't take adequate steps to prevent it?

It's mentioned in the wispolitics link:

22% of registered voters in Ron Kind’s district represents about 64,000 voters.

The exact wording of the poll question was:

“Do you think it’s possible the 9/11 terror attacks were an inside job?”

1400 people were polled with a statistical margin of error of about 2%. The sample size is almost three times the size of most standard polls.

I'd be surprised if it wasn't Minnesota, where Jesse Ventura has been governor and both Barrett and Al Franken are able to get on a ballot. Not to mention the district he's in isn't exactly politcally savvy, as the last time Kind ran he was up against a negative campainger who basically used the Opie and Anthony Show as his forum, never realizing they were mocking him the whole time...

...and he got 35% of the vote. (Source)

And thinking about this while driving a couple of points need to be made:

1. "Is it possible?" Well, if you've never bothered to do any research at all or even thought about it before it would be fundamentally dishonest to say "no." Without evidence, anything is possible right? Long :rule10ing way from "Do you believe?"

Sadly for Barrett and his silly movement, there's plenty of evidence. Just hasn't filtered down to the sticks of his state yet.

2. "Heya Ron, wood yah say 'hi' to OohanAay when yah see 'em. We lohve OohanAay here in Minnysoda." (Ron & Fez noon to three).

Oh joy, another poll to boost the sagging morale of the twoofers.

First it was 84%...then 36%...then 4.6%...and now 22% in support of the TM.

Meanwhile, back in the real world, twoofers remain completely irrelevant. Their petitions fail, their protests are a joke, their efforts to gain media attention backfire horribly, and every candidate they endorse gets crushed at the ballot box.

Meaningless polls may give twoofers hope, but reality will still be there to crush them in the end.

Wait a second. We're supposed to have the most evil of all fascist tyrants in power and he thinks he can run for Congress and not be disappeared by the evil powers in charge? Is this a suicide attempt? Is he reckless? Or perhaps he knows all his talk is empty rhetoric and there is nothing to fear from the Powers-That-Be?

You decide.

Now for the real conspiracy: Why is Kevin Barrett and his campaign completely ignored by 911Blogger.com? You would think a candidate for office with 9/11 Truth as his main theme would get extensive coverage on the major 9/11 truth site.

Is it possible that Barrett talks a little more truth than the mainstream so-called "truth movement" wants to deal with? Could it be some people within that movement are a little uncomfortable with Barrett's identity as a Muslim, and with his willingness to talk to people who are willing to discuss all angles of 9/11 research-- including the potential role of Israel in the attacks?

We know what Barrett is all about, but who is it within the truther ranks who is trying to get him blackballed and shoved off to the margins?

I don't know......um.............Israel?

Wait. What? There's a "mainstream" truth movement? Really?

Who knew?

Could it be that he is such a creep that he creeps out the creeps?
