Concierge Service with Visa

Having just read a link from Dark Roasted Blend about "How to Make Visa Obey Your Every Desire: The Credit Card Concierge Experiment", I took a look at my own Visa and found that I have this feature (concierge)...woo hoo.

I am thinking of giving this a try. I want to stock my pond with Koi fish, but, I am not sure how well they will do in my location and I do not really know where to find them. I wonder if my "personal concierge" would find this information for me.

Has anyone ever used this service? Sounds like fun - but, while I am quite willing to pay for the Koi - I wonder if the "service" really is free?

I think I have this on one of my Visa Business card. Have never bothered to check it out. I suspect the Internet would be a better source of information.

Well, suppposedly the service will do that work for you (research). The guy who wrote the article http://www.fourhourworkweek.com/blog/2010/05/01/credit-card-concierge/ was testing out the service. I don't expect them to deliver the fish, but, perhaps tell me where I can find them and/or if my location would be suitable for the fish to live.

I think I mgiht use this service next time I'm looking for a hotel room (apparantely they give upgrades). I am just wondering if anyone has actually used this service.

I also wonder how much they can smooth out air traffic - such as if one if flying with pets. Or if one is shipping a pet and they take care of its needs along the way. Or maybe they can pack my bags so that they are NOT over the frigging weight limit, yet somehow contain everything I need.

It's a concierge service, not your own private magician. :)
