Complimentary medicine

I'd smack him in the chops. How dare he be so "lookist". I'll wear any dress that pleases me! :D

I'd smack you in the chops. How dare you assume the dockter is a "him" and not a "her". Sheeshh.:D

Well, it's The English Cricket Team, The Groundsman, and The Umpires V the australian cricket team minus it's great fast bowler.
It's going to be hard!

WTF does "...minus it is fast bowler" mean anyway...? :p

The worlds greatest fast bowler, Glen McGrath, was out injured for the 4th test, which England won. I don't know if he will be available for the 5th.

You missed the point, BJ. I was querying your misuse of the apostrophe in "its".
Anyway, we're still gonna win the Ashes this time round... :p :D

Kimpatsu,

An Englishman, hey? Well, I don't blame you for the disguise. :D
Do not read what follows if you are easily offended. (Otherwise highlight between the smilies. ;) )

:D A popular Australian retort: "F*ck off home yer whingin' pommie bastard." :D

But that is actually not my style. :nope:

BillyJoe

BJ, as the word "pom" is actuall yderived from "prisoner of his majesty", it's you bunch of crooks who are the real poms. And you most certainly did not waste your post; it was addressed to me, your superior. Being down under means that you are forever beneath me. :p :D

Is that what passes for witty repartee in Australia ?
Believe it or not, this is said with affection to all our English friends when they inevitably start whinging on about how much better it was back home.
We may not be dead, dry witty but we have a rather keen, if perverse, sense of humour.

I've just now come home from work to catch the first delivery: McGrath to Trescowthick.
Seems England must have won the toss. :(

BJ
On Virgin Radio UK this morning, they were claiming that god was an Englishman, so England were bound to win, and then they went up on the roof and did a rain dance, because if the final test is cancelled, England wins by default. :p

Yeah, a win to be proud of I'm sure!
And they've already cleared Trafalgar Square for the victory celebrations. Meanwhile....

Trescothick b Warne c Hayden for 43 with England 81 - 1 off 18 overs.

But they will need another quick breakthrough to start looking good.

BJ

England's Captain bites the dust!

Vaughn b Warne c Clarke for 11 with England 102 - 2

But they need to keep going.

And Warne has his third!

Bell lbw b Warne with England 104 - 3

Now they need to get Strauss out before he reaches his half century.

BJ

And a fourth!!

Pieterson b Warne for 14

Unfortunately, Strauss is on 68, and neither McGrath nor Tait are bowling well. It's perhaps about evenly poised at present.

Bed time now.....hope they can continue on without my help. :D
