I think that Dubya was just unlucky compared to Reagan. If Reagan had been president now, he would have screwed up just as badly.

A hypothetical, I know. But I can't help feeling that Dubya is trying to be what Reagan was, stupid but active.

When Reagan was re-elected in 1984, I felt sick to my stomach. The world was coming to an end.

Now I'd give anything to have Reagan back again. I didn't really know the apocalyptic possibilities of a religiously-motivated idiot-as-president until now.
