Comic strip a conspiracy myth

Okay, I've got some ..... news....

I've been invited into the beta test of the new version of SG! Just a hint of what will come! I won't be doing too many strips like this, as the data for this test version will be deleted when the site goes live, but I'll play around a bit, and post the results here. So far, I'm Cautiously Optimistic, despite there being a few annoyances with the new interface. I'm sure we'll work those out, though...

Please note: There's a bug in the text boxes. That's why I seem to have stopped writing in the middle of several sentences!

Yeah... hate to break it to you, but.... this tired myth was debunked many years ago. Plus, very unfunny.

I haven't read even one of these "comic strips" that have even made me smile.....they are all not funny IMO.

I can accept the criticism on the not being funny part, but the comic wasn't in any seriousness. I am well aware the events I placed in the comic did not transpire.

I took it as a satirical take off of truthers delusions.

Most of the comics here play that way. Satire, It explains why some people don't get the humor in the comics. If you take it literally you will never get it. If you don't, you can probably see it for what it is.

And, as always, it's sometimes hard to distinguish satire from actual belief.

This. There was nothing in the comic to indicate that it was satire to me. I thought you seriously believed that it happened that way, or at least in a similar manner. However, since I appear to be wrong about that, I will apologize for my assumption.

As to the lack of funny, it needed a punchline at the end. It basically read as a normal bureaucratic conversation; nothing really funny about it. Just needs a little kick though; it's entirely possible to make something like that funny if you choose the right words and setup. Keep at it.

"So, you want to cover up one screw-up by committing another screw-up?"

"Exactly!"
