Comic strip a conspiracy myth

This one sums up my feelings about things quite well.

Does this mean Strip Generator is down for you too? I was worried it was just me!

That's funny! I had a brief moment of paranoia and fear that somehow I was responsible for the down time! The woo runs deep, the woo runs deep.

I assume the wittycomics.com one you linked to?

That is why I asked. So, you liked the witty one better?? I couldn't tell which one you thought was the original. To tell you the truth, I would have to check the date stamps to know at this point. I'm not sure there is an original. Both are part of a much longer shtick about the Internets.

No, I just thought maybe it was my computer, I've had things like that happen before.

HA! I KNEW IT WAS YOU, YOU BASTARD!!!!!1111!1!!!!

;)

(and for those who can't see it)

More bad news

Tech dude: We apologize for the server downtime yesterday. We received too many hits.

robinson: (smiles)

Tech dude: Somebody linked a strip to a hundred forums, as well as Digg. Slashdot, StumbleUpon and Reddit. It created a denial of service effect.

robinson: (stops smiling)

Tech dude: Once we determine the idiot who did this, the account will be banned.

robinson: (looks very unhappy, slinks away)

And the other version of the same comic

I see. Yea, I liked the witty one better because of the contrast. The comic strip one didn't capture it as well.

Thanks! I feel all warm and tingly now!

I tend to keep the stripgen stuff lighthearted, and let the dark side out on the witty site.

And the dude who runs the witty site died or something, because there is no censorship anymore.

Which might sound good, until you find out about the jello.

Hehe, very nice. Especially the bandages among other things.
How do you colour things though? I notice you have some red in there as well as a thing that is usually black and not white with a black line.

If you sign up for a blog, they give you more tools to work with. There's also a level above that, for popular posters, that has blue and green colours. Sometimes on days like Christmas, they give us regular types access to those tools.

At my level, I have some red shapes, and there's a button to invert the white and black things to black and white. By careful overlaying, you can create things like the bandages, which was just two rectangles on top of each other, with the top one a bit smaller, and inverted to be white.

Ah, thanks. Clever you! ;)
I've also signed up and might make some little clip stories. I'll let you know! :)
