Comic strip a conspiracy myth

You forgot to include a link to the thread for those who haven't yet been exposed to it's boundless riches.
...snip...
I'm so evil. :D

Thanks for the link but I wasn't referring directly to the well known thread. "Teh realistice" is a combination of two words that are still constantly used in a very peurile way by some posters who really need to get a life if they still find it amusing. It's like a Frat party with dull in jokes, the type that features in dull College/Coming of age "comedy" films.

I am well aware that "realistice" is a personal attack on Christophera and that "Teh" is a personal attack on St***ie and that both have now expanded to become a general Ad Hom on the forum.

It's good to see my fan club is still out there! I enjoyed my vacation by the way guys, did you miss me.

Isn't it interesting that he manages to interpret one of the most common spelling mistakes on the net as a "personal attack".

You really need to get out more often.

While Christophera did indeed grace us with "realistice," the misspelling "teh" has been around as a device for mockery on the Internet since the beginning of the Internet. Stundie didn't create that. He just isn't smart enough to edit his own posts.

Are you next going to credit us with the invention of knock-knock jokes, too?

Oh, and Billy? An ad hominem is a fallacy used in an argument. It doesn't apply to simple mockery of morons in general. If I were to walk up to you on the street and tell you that you're ugly and your momma dresses you funny, it's not an ad hom. I'm just making fun of you because you really are ugly, and your momma really does dress you funny.

Learn the difference, could you? It's really in your best interests, if you think about it. But I bet you'll never be able to figure out why that might be.....

I really am getting out more often which is probably why, unlike yourself it would appear, I am not even aware that "teh" is a common internet thing. I have never come across it before except on here and on SLC, I'd like to see your evidence that it is commonly used.

Hmmm the old JREFer Ad Hom Weasel Out Tactic (Jahwot). Let's see if it works shall we?

Nope doesn't work, it's still Ad Hom!

Apparently, the things you're not aware of would fill a book.

Well jeez, you got me there, I am so ashamed that I am not nerdy enough to know that "teh" is a general nerdspeak insult. It's still an Ad Hom.

PS Don't feel sorry for me, I laugh my socks off at my fan club, and your post made me smile (Rule 8 means I can't use the word I really mean, d'oh I think that just broke the new rule 8).

'Teh' is ad hom?

'Teh'?

Ad hom?

[Inigo Montoya]You keep using that word, I do not think it means what you think it means.[/Inigo Montoya]

PS: Does anybody here really doubt that William is a truther anymore?

I haven't had teh doubts in a long while.

And Billy boy's got such a thin skin, I'm really not surprised he considers "teh" as an insult/ad hom. Despite the fact that it's used by an absolutely huge number of people as a funny bit, he's still not in on the joke. I get the impression he's never been "in on the joke", and so sees all humour as exclusionary and insulting, because that's how it's always been to him. Sad really.

Que his standard, "I have a sense of humour, you just don't see it!" whine that doesn't fool anyone.

P.S. Pwned ya! You are teh l0s3r!

Some people, like Fetzer, believe what they say is true because they said it is. That is insane. Some people think their opinions are facts, because they say so. They claim they are the expert and their opinion are facts. I have no idea what school of BS teaches that, I think it is more a character flaw. What do you call that? What do you call it when someone believes his opinions are facts? (it would help if their opinions were based on facts instead of woo too) Has anyone seen anyone who does this? I think a few of the new posters use this type of opinion as facts unknowingly.

Hey, guys, pretty please. I'm no good with Art. But somebody has to do something with Malclom's stuff. The absence of gravity in a TV tube is too good a straight line to pass up.

Rolfe.

OMG, OH NOES! Kids aren't being bullied in school--they're being ad hommed! And in public!

Teh shame!
