ARLINGTON (CBS) – A blog threatening members of Congress in the wake of the Tucson, Arizona shooting has prompted Arlington police to temporarily suspend the firearms license of an Arlington man.

It was the headline “1 down and 534 to go” that caught the attention. “One” refers to Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, who was shot in the head in the rampage, while 534 refers to the other members of the U.S. House and Senate.

Police are investigating the “suitability” of 39-year-old Travis Corcoran to have a firearms license

Googling you can find his posts from before the current controversy on other web sites; he's a piece of work;

A climate change science denier, conservative catholic, libertarian/anarcho-capitalist.

Seems to think everything is a sign of impending socialism.

We see his type come through here all the time.

Is he dangerous? I don't think he would have gone off to kill Congresscritters himself, though, but he would have been more than happy to have been the spur for somebody else to do it. This sort is the sort that does something violent if life takes a bad turn, though.

I wish there was an " other guys" law, if you have a firearms liscense and your found just shy of being stupid enough to not have it , your firearms are replaced with airsoft guns of the same model, more stupidity gets them replaced with replicas, further stupidity gets the replicas replaced with wooden mock ups, and finally if the person continues their stupidity, they all get replaced with varying pitches of rape whistle.
