Pity; just as things were getting interesting, down goes the Defkalion discussion forum
http://defkalion-energy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=249&view=next
Due to an overload in traffic and a bottleneck in moderating discussions, Defkalion Green Technologies has decided to temporarily freeze this Forum’s operation until further notice. All comments have been welcomed. We thank you all for your participation.

But, hey, it's not all bad news! If you want to give them money, you can still make contact:
For those with an interest to collaborate with Defkalion Green Technologies on international sales, R&D and for HR purposes, please use our ‘Contact Us’ page on this website.

What's funny is that there did not seem to be a lot of traffic. The number of "written" post was quite low. CAn't say for the number of "reading"/"lurker" though.

Yes, and the moderator must have been tearing his hair out, judging by the sceptical tone of some of the posts.

Please summarise briefly what this is about.

:)
Summary:

1- In the end of April-2011 Guglinski submitted two papers to Andrea Rossi's blog, the Journal of Nuclear Physics.
a- How Repulsive Gravity Contributes for Rossi-Focardi Cold Fusion Experiment
b- Anomalous mass of the neutron

Andrea Rossi promised to publish them in June.

2- In May-2011 Guglinski post a comment in his blog, in this link:
http://www.journal-of-nuclear-physics.com/?p=497&cpage=1#comments
Guglinski asked to Andrea Rossi which of the two papers would be published firstly, in June.

3- Andrea Rossi replied in that link:
'They both will be published'

4- Andrea Rossi's catalyzer is a secret

5- In his paper Guglinski predicts the best element to be the catalyzer for the H-Ni cold fusion which takes place in Rossi's experiment

6- In his Quantum Ring Theory Guglinski shows that gravity has the magnitude of the electromagnetism. So, with such hypothesis it's possible to explain the greatest cold fusion mistery: how the Coulombic barrier is surpassed.
This is proposed in the paper How Repulsive Gravity Contributes for Rossi-Focardi Cold Fusion Experiment

7-Andrea Rossi changed his mind, and decided do not fulfill his promise. He decided do not publish the papers.

8- To avoid being called a liar, Andrea Rossi deleted from his blog the comment posted by Guglinski, and also deleted his promise, when he replied:
'They both will be published'

9- So, the question is:
Why did Andrea Rossi change his mind - taking the risk of being called a liar - and did decide do not publish the paper How Repulsive Gravity Contributes for Rossi-Focardi Cold Fusion Experiment ?

10- There are two hypothesis

a- In his paper Guglinski predicted correctly the element used in Rossi's catalyzer. So, Andrea Rossi cannot publish the paper, because it reveals the secret of his catalyzer.

b-Andrea Rossi recognized that Guglinski's proposal on the gravity with the same magnitude of electromagnetism solves the greatest unsolved mistery of cold fussion: how the Coulombic barrier is surpassed. And as Andrea Rossi has his own theory for explaining cold fusion, he does not want Guglinski's idea spread worldwide

What do you think is the most probable ?

The inventor of a highly dubious device has chosen not to publish on his blog something written by the inventor of a highly dubious theory, even though he previously promised to do so?

My opinion is: I couldn't give a toss.

wait me in november, when the Rossi's E-Cat will be supplying with steam about 500ºC a industrial complex in Xanthi, Greece.

Then I will want to hear about you

I haven't been following the cold fusion thread but I looked up Rossi and read the wiki article on his E-Cat before making my last post, and it's certainly intriguing. I shall be watching further developments, including the progress of the Defkalion plant, with interest.

But I still don't give a toss about a petty squabble between him and Guglinski.

Well said.

:D
your opinion is very important
:D
after all, if the Rossi's E-Cat will really change the world in 2012, then any discussion about a theory which explains the working of his reactor will be petty squabble

:p

Please summarise briefly what this is about.
To summarise; it appears that a paper about a nonsensical, pseudoscientific, theory called Quantum Ring Theory, peddled by a loon named Wladimir Guglinski, is too stupid even for a fake Physics journal journal that was created by a scam artist named Andrea Rossi to support his fake cold fusion machine.
Given some of Rossi's actions I'm actually surprised by this, especially given that Guglinski is fairly active in the cold fusion/free energy/over-unity field.

:)
yes,
mainly because Andrea Rossi has published in his blog the INTRODUCTION TO QUANTUM RING THEORY

Then why did he decide do not publish the paper?

He's too busy trying to scam people?
Probably. His companies are looking for suckers investors at the moment and he has other things to worry about than Guglinski and his rambling, like the scam collapsing before money has been extracted.
