CNN's Rick Sanchez: CNN is run by Jews

In an exchange on a radio show yesterday, Sanchez was bitching about Jon Stewart, who happens to pick on him a lot on his show, and calls Stewart a "bigot," because he's supposedly bigoted against anyone who, "doesn't agree with his point of view..." The host, Peter Dominick, pointed out that Stewart is Jewish, and this is what he said in response:

I'm telling you that everybody who runs CNN is a lot like Stewart, and a lot of people who run all the other networks are a lot like Stewart, and to imply that somehow they, the people in this country who are Jewish, are an oppressed minority? Yeah.

Dang, Dude. Want to keep your job? Don't call out your Jewish overlords in a public forum.

I have a sneaking suspicion that Stewart is going to fry his ass on Monday.

I think he's sensitive about that view of him. Here's another choice quote:

They minimize you, and treat you like you don't matter. I am a complex human being. I am not some moron.

I haven't watched him much in action, so I can't give any opinion as to his intelligence. He does have a rather expansive definition of "bigot" though.

I summarize Sanchez this way: he's not a reporter, he's a Saturday Night Live parody of a reporter. Remember Joe Piscopo's take on a sports reporter in the 1980s on SNL? Well, Sanchez acts like what Piscopo would do as a parody of a news journalist.

Given the recent leadership change at CNN, I wonder if this wasn't already in the works. It seems clear that TW isn't happy with their performance as of late, and Sanchez constantly embarrassing them can't help.
