CNN Doxxes a gif maker

“How are your children now? You think a lot of them, don’t you? You have a nice little family, haven’t you? Wouldn’t it be a pity if anything happened to break it up?”

CNN's new motto

They learn that from POTUS ?

"I hope you can see your way clear to letting this go, ..."

I guess the difference is we only have evidence that one of those entities actually said those things ...

The poll is about trust in the reporting of the media, not the trust of Trump but I saw something about that as well. I'll see if I can find it.

Here it is.

Very favorable
8% trust the media "a great deal"
14% trust the Trump administration "a great deal"

Favorable
30% trust the media "a good amount or a great deal"
37% trust the Trump administration "a good amount or a great deal"

Unfavorable

68% trust the media "not very much or not all"
61% trust the Trump administration "not very much or not all"

The media has some work to do to regain the trust of the American people. I fall into the unfavorable category on both, which I believe to be the most skeptical and rational position to take.

Fake news is not just news that is inaccurate. The term has a specific definition. The right-wing has tried to widen the term to basically become meaningless but it stil has a meaning.

Heres my definition: fake news is inaccurate and or irresponsible reporting that is attempting to push a false narrative.

The poll was from September 2016.

And when did our furher start his campaign against any news outlet that didn't lick his balls? I think astute readers know it was months before September 2016.

The trust that Donald Trump is destroying. The media isn't doing anything to warrant his attacks. They're baseless, crass, and dishonest attacks, coming from the fevered mind of a lunatic, going into the feeble mind of his base.

That notwithstanding, the poll dropped only a few percentage points from 2015 so Trumps influence by Sept 2016 was marginal.

The media is doing it to themselves. They better be praying to God, Allah and Zeus that Mueller turns up something. If he doesn't, it's not gonna be good for CNNs reputation.

I agree. I want CNN destroyed, but not at 4chan's hands. Their destruction should come about simply because people tune them out, since they're worthless.

CNNs ratings are still pretty high right now, which is at odds with the media trust polls I've been talking about. I guess I'm not the only one watching strictly for the cringe.

CNN's new motto

Wow, no hyperbole there at all. Why didn't you mention gas chambers, while you're at it?

Nope, CNN incessantly beating this retarded Russia drum isn't fixing the problem. Its dividing the country and souring our relations with Russia.

You mean CNN should stop reporting on what can possibly be the largest scandal in US political history, which has spawned three high level investigations, including an investigation of Trump himself, and will no doubt spawn many more if the Benghazi affair is anything to go by?

Why in the world would they do that? Just because you are a Trump apologist and thus chose to close your eyes to the evidence doesn't mean the rest of us aren't interested.

How do you determine intent? It seems to me like you're simply assuming intent in order to call it fake news.

The media is doing it to themselves.

I think the last decade of right-wing politics has a hand in this, too. So does the internet and the democratisation of information, which the media try to keep up with.

That definition isn't the definition the rest of us are using. If it was, Fox would be nothing but fake news.

I take it you also think Russia has absolutely nothing wrong relative to the US elections, then? How did you determine that?

I think it's close enough to the actual definition, though. It's deliberate hoax news in order to further a political agenda, essentially. Of course, nowadays everything one disagrees with is automatically called fake news.

There's a difference between "inaccurate or irresponsible" and "hoax". It might be subtle, but it's there.

Fake news refers specifically to the multitude of blog- and facebook posts linking fake articles, the vast majority of which - if not all - supported Donald Trump or attacked Hillary Clinton. Fake news is almost entirely a right wing phenomenon. That is why they have worked so hard to co-opt the phrase.

why would an extortionist like CNN mention gas chambers? How silly.

"CNN reserves the right to publish his identity should any of that change."

Fake news is fake news. Sorry you don't like that moniker but its an accurate description in this case.
Wrong. Fake news is the Enquirer. Britebart. InfoWars.

I expect a lot better reporting from mainstream media than we are getting. The poll I linked shows that 70% of independents and 86% of Republicans feel the same way. If CNN wants to convince us we're wrong, this creepy stalker ********e they are pulling here ain't the right way to start. We deserve better than CNN and we deserve better than Fox.

I don't get the sense you watch CNN. I am of the opinion that you gobble up talking points.

Nope, CNN incessantly beating this retarded Russia drum isn't fixing the problem. Its dividing the country and souring our relations with Russia.

This Russia drum NEEDS to be beat every single day. This is quite clearly on par with 9/11, Japanese Internement camps and pretty much any other of the darkest times in our history. That people like you stick your fingers in your ears and try to pretend it's "fake news" doesn't change the basic fact that it is in reality quite real news.

And that marks him as a great leader, all great leaders destroy all sources of information that do not come from them

NPR poll: Majority believes Trump did something illegal or unethical with Russia
A majority of American adults believes President Trump has done something either illegal or unethical with Russia, according to a new poll.

Fifty-four percent now believe the president has done something illegal or unethical, compared to 49 percent in February, an NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll found.

Twenty-five percent believe Trump did something illegal and 29 percent think he has done something unethical, but not illegal.

But sure, the problem is CNN.
