Avid readers of this thread will surely recognize the severe and advanced case of Hillary/Cowboy Server Derangement Syndrome. It's like watching an eight-year-old pepper his arguments with "Poopie-Head" every other sentence.

Next I'll do "handlers" and "LOLOL!".

Top-notch reporting indeed.

an honest person would have admitted that the original post was completely screwed up, would have acknowledged that I responded before the post was edited, and would have politely "re-asked" the question.

Instead You fraudulently attacked me.

and now you have done it again.

With all due respect, sezme, never mind you ain't worth it

Wow! Profanity and giant text with a showing of the victim card! You got our attention now!

Hillary's Weaknesses

While I'm flattered that this thread is becoming all about me, lets focus on the thread topic for a few minutes shall we?

When she explained that there was nothing to the recent stories about her use of a private email server rather than her State Department email, some felt that even if the story was relatively minor it indicated that she wasn't always telling us what she was really about. Even if she isn't hiding anything, she often gives that appearance.

The 'some" in question are Hillary supporters!

This entire email scandal is simply indicative the Clintons have a well earned reputation as oily operators. Slick Willy and Slicker Hilly?

She had plenty of time to hone the long con

Wow.

Again, you've uncovered a bombshell! In just 30 pages you have discovered that the Clintons are crafty (read: sleazy) politicians. I, for one, am stunned. Completely shocked.

I suppose next you're gonna explain that water is wet and skunks stink.

Agreed, a whole lot of "got nothin"

Ok!:D

Benghazi, email-gate, and Hilary is a bitch to her low income staff. If you don't have any policy arguments, trash the person. Rove Playbook 101.
Its effect, for the most part must be aimed at the emotions and only to a very limited degree at the intellect....
The receptivity of the great masses is very limited, their intelligence is small, but their power of forgetting is enormous.
Effective propaganda must be limited to a very few points and must harp on these in slogans until the last member of the public understands what you want him to understand by your slogan. As soon as you sacrifice this slogan and try to be many-sided, the effect will piddle away, for the crowd can neither digest nor retain the material offered. In this way the result is weakened and in the end entirely cancelled out.
Oh wait, that's from Hitler's propaganda machine.

It's amusing how a poster with only one singular ally in this thread boasts of knowing how most people agree with him. I think most conspiracy theorists convince themselves that even though almost no one publicly agrees with them, there is either some vast group of lurkers who silently agree, or even their opponents secretly agree.

I think Hillary has her own server so she can control the content and delete whatever she wants at her discretion. For me, the way she has handled this situation is just one more example of how she operates, not the determining factor. I don't see a point in trying to convince the few people left in this thread to change their opinions of Hillary.

A few of the people still posting here have already said they are indeed bothered by her actions, just not to the same level as others are. I've been following the thread but have nothing else to add to it. It is obvious to me where everyone stands, so I see no point.

That took a while to Godwin the thread....
More like a Poe. I was reading the list which was cited as Rove's PlayBook in the link. It's pretty much what his political campaign tactics are. And it wasn't until I got to the bottom of the page that I saw the actual citations.

Ya know, if I was engaged in high-level diplomacy and critical negotiations, I wouldn't want my every email made public - even after the event. Hell, when I was running a profit center for a large international company, I sure didn't want my emails to my boss made public. Some things are kept on the down-low because that's exactly where they ought to be.

While I don't think HRC has handled this well given her lengthy political experience, I don't think the issue itself - the deleted emails - is a big deal. It's another BENGHAZI!!11!!1

For 16.5 and allies I have two questions:
1) Does this "controversy" make HRC unqualified for the presidency?

2) Is there any serious policy issue associated with this incident?

It is still a Godwin, just an extra silly one then.

No, Rove's playbook is all about propaganda.

It's not about saying, as bad as Hitler (or Goebbels). It's about presenting the evidence that both Goebbel's tactics and Rove's are very similar.

Indeed, you and Grizzly both spring to mind as people who are bothered, but are honest or realistic enough to not expect much out of it. The "everybody agrees with me" duo have been the only ones desperately trying to wrongly apply inapplicable laws, or invent conspiracy theories as to why the DOJ doesn't hunt the democrats the conspiracy theorists don't like (Clinton and Lerner, at least).

Avid readers of the thread, even conservatives, are not secretly, silently agreeing with the HDS sufferers.

This thread (and your Benghazi thread) are simply your outrages vocalized. We get it; you're not a liberal. And anyone not sharing the same degree of outrage you do is, by your default, someone who doesn't care. Sure, you have a few who agree with you and guess what? They are conservatives too. Isn't that odd? You are parroting what you hear in conservative echo chambers and completely ignoring the hypocritical positions you find yourself in.

Yes, hypocritical. Not "tu quoque". Not "attacking the arguer". You are not a victim and you are not under attack. Your position is simply flawed. And, it's most times wrong. And you continue on for reasons. Is it to maybe change someone's mind? Do you think by reporting each and every development we'll suddenly understand? Is it to defend your party? What is it?

You do realize that maybe we do care about these issues, just not to the level of outrage you do. And instead of working up some solutions, you double-down on your position. All you're doing is shouting out loud.

What do you hope to accomplish here?

I would just like to point out that 16.5 thought that this would be the end of Hillary; he said that he would be amazed if she even ran for President after emailghazi.

LOL.

Hell, still am surprised, although in my defense I did point out that because I am not a narcissistic sociopath like Hillary, my prediction was not iron clad.

Hell, there are probably people who will even vote for the sleazeball! What a world....

Yawn.

Oh the outrage.

In 2009, it was announced that as many as 22 million emails may have been deleted.

The administration officials had been using a private Internet domain, called gwb43.com, owned by and hosted on an email server run by the Republican National Committee,[6] for various communications of unknown content or purpose. The domain name is an acronym standing for "George W. Bush, 43rd" President of the United States. The server came public when it was discovered that J. Scott Jennings, the White House's deputy director of political affairs, was using a gwb43.com email address to discuss the firing of the U.S. attorney for Arkansas.[7] Communications by federal employees were also found on georgewbush.com (registered to "Bush-Cheney '04, Inc."[8]) and rnchq.org (registered to "Republican National Committee"[9]), but, unlike these two servers, gwb43.com has no Web server connected to it — it is used only for email.[10]

The "gwb43.com" domain name was publicized by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), who sent a letter to Oversight and Government Reform Committee committee chairman Henry A. Waxman requesting an investigation.[11] Waxman sent a formal warning to the RNC, advising them to retain copies of all emails sent by White House employees. According to Waxman, "in some instances, White House officials were using nongovernmental accounts specifically to avoid creating a record of the communications."[12] The Republican National Committee claims to have erased the emails, supposedly making them unavailable for Congressional investigators.

Cowbow Homebrewz! OMG!

Can't wait for November 8th 2016. The sound of Republican heads exploding will be glorious.
