Ed clintonemails.com: Who is Eric Hoteham?

From Huma Abedin's Wikipedia page:

So they did respond. Grassley just didn't like the response that he got. They're not "stonewalling".

Before we move the goalposts too far, can we at least get a concession that this inquiry has nothing to do with getting her husband back in the news??

As far as the goalpost move, the AP is suing the State Department to reopen their various FOIA requests because the State Department did not search and turn over documents responsive to the request because they were sitting on Hillary's server. Of course the AP was getting stonewalled.

But you don't know without looking in the server! We have to look in the server to know what's in it! We have to pass the bill to find out what's in it! Oh, wait, that didn't work so well for Pelosi... McGuffin strikes again!!

The Department of Justice has already agreed in several lawsuits to reopen several FOIA lawsuits because of the disclosures regarding the Clinton email server.

By the way, I find your response to be completely disrespectful and utterly frivolous and juvenile, and it is apparent that I completely wasted my *********** time answering your questions.

It's not the first time I've been accused of being frivolous and juvenile, and no doubt won't be the last. My point is, though, that this so-called "issue" is obviously (obvious, that is, except to certain highly partisan Republicans) nothing more than an attempt to smear Clinton by any means possible.

Yeah, I'll let the Associated Press know how you feel.

Thanks for posting.

Hillary Clinton’s Appeal Survives Scrutiny, Poll Says

http://www.nytimes.com/2015/05/06/u...ton-gains-favor-times-cbs-poll-says.html?_r=0

Hillary Rodham Clinton appears to have initially weathered a barrage of news about her use of a private email account when she was secretary of state and the practices of her family’s foundation, an indication that she is starting her second presidential bid with an unusual durability among Democratic voters.

Americans now view Mrs. Clinton more favorably and more see her as a strong leader than they did earlier in the year, despite weeks of scrutiny about her ethics, a New York Times/CBS News poll has found.

State official: Clinton email practices 'not acceptable'

There was testimony today regarding Clinton's email practices, where a number of witnessed (including General Counsel for the AP) decried the pathetic response to FOIA requests, and specifically criticized the use of a private email service as "not acceptable."

A high-ranking State Department official said Wednesday it's "not acceptable" for any agency employee to conduct government business on a private email server as former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton did.

She also testified that State was "taking Hillary's word for it" that she had turned over all relevant documents (despite the fact that Hillary's gang can't even agree on a consistent story on what documents they looked at).

This e-mail server is the GOP's McGuffin. Anything could be on that server! OMGBenghazi!!!!one!!!eleventy!! IRS!! Whitewater! Weiner! Jimmy Hoffa! John Wilkes Booth! We HAVE to know what's in there! We HAVE to know how long Chelsea agonized over guest favors! And whether or not Hillary had any input as to whether Chelsea invited her bitchy college roommate who invited her to HER wedding, but Chels blew her off. Transparency!

I demand to see what was in her spam folder!! Melanie wants U 2nite. Who the **** is Melanie!!

Nice cherry pick ...

Asked by Republican Senator Thom Tillis if the practices used by Clinton were still acceptable at the department, Barr said, "We continue to do training but we've sent department notices, telegrams, we've talked to directors. I think the message is loud and clear that that is not acceptable."

IRONY!!!!! Miss the headline did ya?

It's clear from the actual quotes what Barr is saying, but the large font used by 16.5 is pretty convincing. I'm going to have to rethink this.

Nothing was missed, including your cherry picking. Thanks for posting (in extra large letters)

Nice to be accused of cherry picking by someone who was cherry picking.:D

I thought you'd appreciate the extra large font, and hi'lite!

Thought it was extra nifty, indeed.

Of course the headline is always an accurate summation of the facts in the article, right?

Here are some more 'factual' headlines:-

"Government Report: Bush, Rove Broke The Law"

"Special Report: G.W. Bush's 103.6 million missing email messages"

"Investigation Uncovers ‘Extensive Destruction’ Of RNC Emails, Violations Of Records Act"

LOLZ! You serious? That is exactly what I have been saying all along! Now lets see:

"Government Report: Clinton Broke The Law"

"Special Report: Clinton's 30,000 missing email messages"

"Investigation Uncovers ‘Extensive Destruction’ Of Clinton Emails, Violations Of Records Act"

That my good friend is what this thread is actually about!

Great post!

(that is the the problem with tu quoque fallacies, you end up taking your own hero down. Fantastic!)

79 Lawsuits Nationwide. Thanks Hillary!

Anti-Governmental Transparency Zealot Hillary Clinton's former State Department is the subject of 79 lawsuits nationwide for their failure to comply with FOIA requests.

79 lawsuits. Cripes. Thanks Hillary!

How many arise out of her decision to use a cowboy/homebrew server? A bunch of them:

http://www.politico.com/blogs/under-the-radar/2015/05/state-department-hit-with-more-clintonrelated-foia-206709.html

Sneering contempt for the rule of law and political openness does not bode well for a presidential candidate. Maybe Bill can go give a couple of speeches in Russia and earn some dough to pay all the lawyers trying to sort through Hillary's latest mess?

One can only hope, huh?

All is explained in the opening sentence ...

A conservative watchdog group filed seven new Freedom of Information Act lawsuits against the State Department this week, all relating to Hillary Clinton's tenure as secretary of state.

Also ... how many of those 79 lawsuits that you are blaming on Hillary were actually filed while Hillary was in charge of the state dept ? Inquiring minds would like to you to back up your innuendo ...
