Trumpy needs the Big Bad Witch to come back and help him out of his mess?
Yes, it's also fun how, over a year after she was defeated, "but her emails!" is still one of the main narratives around the Trump administration.
I enjoy how much you're making of it, for sure.
Keep telling yourself that.
Well tbh, if her emails really were as much of a security threat as the GOP would have us believe then it should be a big deal and they should be seeking to prosecute her and "lock her up". Through the prism of the "alternative facts" section of the media and people's muddled recollection, the story is:
- Hillary Clinton dealt with top secret emails on an unsecured private server
- There wer more than 30,000 top secret emails on the server
- The server was hacked by the Russians, Gucifer and probably many other parties antipathetic to the US cause
- To hide this scandal, Hillary deleted the emails and scubbed the servers
- Together with the connivance of senior members of the FBI, CIA and other elements of the Deep State, Hillary, the Democratic Party, (((Wall Street Interests))) and other swamp dwellers have conspired to stop President Trump and the GOP bringing her, and her co-conspirators to justice
It doesn't matter that the narrative is fiction (it isn't even "inspired by real events"), it the narrative that the GOP portrays and believes (or at least those with a dim memory of reality pretend to believe ).![]()
According to the Post, the decision in late October 2016 came about three weeks after FBI leadership was alerted to the finding of the emails on Weiner's laptop. The inspector general has sought to find out whether McCabe or anyone else at the FBI wanted to avoid moving forward on examining the Weiner emails until after Election Day, the report said.
The Justice Department's inspector general has been focused for months on why Andrew McCabe, as the No. 2 official at the FBI, appeared not to act for about three weeks on a request to examine a batch of Hillary Clinton-related emails found in the latter stages of the 2016 election campaign, according to people familiar with the matter.
On Oct. 24, 2016, the Wall Street Journal reported that McCabe's wife had received hundreds of thousands of dollars in campaign contributions from a close ally of Clinton, then-Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe. The donations were for McCabe's wife's unsuccessful run as a Democrat for the Virginia state legislature.
The dormant laptop issue then appeared to gain new attention inside the FBI and Justice Department. At a meeting of senior officials of both agencies, senior Justice Department official George Toscas asked about the status of the inquiry into the emails on Weiner's laptop, according to people familiar with the matter.
It took three weeks to confirm that the emails had been previously captured. According to former FBI talking heads, this is utterly routine. The Chicago Tribune published an article today that sets forth the timeline that shows that Andrew McCabe's desk is the place where Clinton investigations, including the Weiner/Clinton connection and the Clinton Family Foundation went to die
here is the key passage:
McCabe no doubt thought he could run out the clock, but after the WSJ article Comey recognized the incalculable damage to the FBI that would have been caused when it was discovered that the FBI sat on the information before the election. So Comey released the information that the Weiner laptop had the emails on the 28th, they did a rushed investigation and he claimed "the emails in question did not change the FBI's conclusions about the Clinton case."
Now I understand that a Clinton fan might be willing be post a trenchant "laughing dog" analysis, but the fact of the matter is that McCabe sitting on it did more harm to the Clinton campaign than if they had announced the news when the New York Office first alerted FBI home office to it.

What actions do you expect to have occurred surrounding these duplicate emails? How quickly should this have happened in order for you not to condemn McCabe?

Highlighted isn't possible. Too hyper-partisan. If McCabe said the word "email" in any context he'd be vilified. It's rather funny. Kinda sad, but pretty funny nonetheless.
You do know of course, because i have explained this already, that McCabe's little stunt did more harm to your hero Hillary than anyone else, right?
Talk about wearing partisan blinders, folks.
Go back to posting laughing dogs
Don't mistake me thinking Hillary is my hero for what it really is. Laughing at your pathetic obsession of her.
I really couldn't care less if she was President or not.
ah, then we'll chalk up those posts to an "obsession" shall we?
/oh man, it is beautiful...![]()

here is a bit more background and source documents regarding the fact that McCabe did not recuse himself from the investigation until November 1.
Delay in recusal
By then of course the damage was done as shown above.
Later in a text from August 15, 2016, Strzok tells Page: "I want to believe the path you threw out for consideration in Andy's office" -- an apparent reference to Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe -- "that there's no way he gets elected -- but I'm afraid we can't take that risk. It's like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you're 40 . . . . "
