Actually, given that after numerous investigations they haven't charged Clinton yet, can you explain why she would need it? Because it looks like she would need it to protect her from the partisan hacks who wanted to impeach her before she was elected and investigate the same thing over and over and over until they find something, anything to pin on her.

I agree. Clinton is done. No more Vince Foster crapola, no more Benghazi BS, no more foundation conflicts of interest, no more Bill Clinton putting his thumb on the scale of justice by meeting with Lynch, just no more. It would be stupid for Republicans to waste their ammo on a dead duck. Clinton's foundation is undergoing some kind of review I think. I suspect that will be non-political and if some badness is detected the fallout will be limited to the badness that is found.

I don't think Obama is in the mood right now to do the Republicans a great favor and pardon Clinton. I believe the Clintons have left the stage and the Clinton bashing and hate will gradually fade away

This is an interesting question. While this was going on I strongly suspected that Democratic officials had some idea about how far the scandal would go and they would have stepped in before an indictment was issued to replace her. My theory, which Biden denies, is that Biden knew pretty much that she wasn't going to be indicted or he would have run. He says it was the death of his son, which might be what he believes, but if the Democrats had known the Clinton was going to be indicted Biden would have been called into action and he would have accepted I believe.

Whether he would have won or not is another interesting question. I think he probably would have.

Just checking to see if its still an impeachable offense, or illegal, or just a momentary lapse of judgement, having your emails on unsecured servers. You know, given the news that pretty much everybody in Trump's white house falls under this category.

The RNC has been using the same server under Bush, deleting millions of emails to prevent investigation. these are undisputed facts, btw.

But of course, the alternative facts are that this is all completely different from the Clinton server.

Trump is also still using his old, easily hackable Android - a truly unprecedented security risk, given how avoidable it is.

Hillary, also, will not be locked up, or indicted, or anything. Why not? Because she committed no crime. Donald Trump knows this. He said something else while campaigning. He lied, and he played you all for chumps.

This is why tu quoque type arguments are so terrible, because that implies that Noahfence believes that the actual subject of the thread, Hillary should be locked up. Given that Noah does not in fact so believe, it is pretty clear that the whole subject is hypocritical.

I will take the bait, I think they should both go to jail!

There are very astute members right here in this very forum that had me convinced that this was illegal - treasonous even. People on Fox News, which I consider the top of the heap as far as honesty and fairness is concerned. Maybe 2nd only to Britebart.

I think Trump himself is going to wind up in a cell next to Hillary! At the very least, Kellyanne Conway.

She did commit a crime. I have shown this over and over again in this thread. As for the so-called news that Trump people are doing the same thing, the evidence is weak, to say the least. Hillary never ever used an official email account. That means, unless she never sent an email related to her work, it is impossible for her to have only used her private server for personal email. And we know that she did use email for her work.

This is a lie. You were never convinced that it was illegal, and I know that you know it.
 
Newsweak has reported that several of Trump's staffers -- but not Trump himself -- have RNC email accounts. It is unknown whether these email accounts are currently being used -- or if they have ever been used, for that matter.

Newsweak has requested that the White House look into the situation and get back to them.
