Aren't press conferences more something you hold when you are in an official capacity? I mean campaigning I would have thought it would mostly be speeches and interviews anyway.

Nope, taking impromptu questions from the press is part and parcel of showing what kind of candidate she is.

She isn't worth a damn when she is off script.
 
I have a bet going with my brother that Hillary will NOT honestly answer ANY unknown question(s) asked of her prior to election day. This includes press conferences, town halls, and even the debates. Money in the bank.

I don't know many people who are adept at answering questions that are unknown.
 
Today, Reporters ask Clinton if she'll take some questions. Clinton, in response, tells reporters to try some chocolate, doesn't answer questions.

Why even bother? Lets be serious, outside of a few people whining about it in the media there's no point in doing them. I know the naysayers are going to bitch, whine and complain (props Bill Burr), but they're going to do that anyway. She could cure cancer and some people would ask why she didn't do it 10 years ago, and then claim she gave them the cancer.

If it's even slightly seen as a risk where something could go wrong (for instance a mic gets stuffed in her face and catches her off guard), then skip it. All she has to do is hand him his ass in the debates, which is guaranteed, and trot into the White House. The reason the GOP and their supporters are bitching about it is because Trump screwed himself over SO BAD that the GOP needs her to drop the ball in a massive way. So they bitch, whine and complain, because right now it's cruise control. Trump can't handle being degraded, or spoken down to, or contradicted by a woman in public. Are you kidding? It's going to be embarrassing, that's why he's trying to get out of it.

And guess what... she managed to not propose commiting acts of war, remove the constitutional protections of minorities or sucking up to de-facto dictators. She might cough, but Trump sucks...
