Classic Pam Geller rant

Anti-Muslim Bath Salt Binge.

There really should be a Dead Kennedies song with that name.

Paging Doctor Jello Biafra.

Cronkrite was a commie........my god.........

Don't laugh. We had a member here named TokenConservative who believed that both Cronkite and William S. Paley were taking their orders from their bosses in Hanoi and that Joe McCarthy was an honorable man. I loved debating him (or her.) Some people see seditionists in every crack and crevice.

I remember TokenConservative.

The threads where he argued against global warming were epic. Also he really hated teachers at public schools....or was it just teachers in general?

Maybe without the recently deceased sludge monster and his Big Lie noise machine to promote the drunken harpy, she will eventually self-destruct in such an elegant manner that all she worked for will go into the toilet.

Why does anyone pay attention to this loon? She's a nut. Ignore her.

As long as everyone else ignores her too, I'd agree with you. If, however, she gathers a following that has some impact on the political process, then ignoring her would not seem to be a good idea.

I read the title as "Classic Penn & Teller rant".
That's funny, me too for a few seconds.

I appreciate hearing about these nuts on the forum so when my parents mention them I don't have to watch Fox News to see who they are talking about.

Is there any support to her claims that Cronkite was a "red" or is this just more mental diarrhea for the Fox News crowd to eat up (and accept without checking for any veracity behind the claims?)

Because he came out against the Vietnam war, I suppose.

No, obviously that doesn't make him a "red" except in the minds of people like Pam Geller.

ETA: maybe there's a little more. Looking at the Wiki article on his political activism:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walter_Cronkite#Political_activism

None of his political activism was actually pro-communist, but he was in favor of world government, which in the minds of right-wingers is almost the same thing.

ETA2: Of course, all of his political activism was after he retired from CBS News. I think he mostly kept his personal political opinions out of his reports as CBS News anchor.
