Cindy Sheehan: will self-denegrate for coverage

Reasonable people should be able to differ over political opinions. Too bad some are unable to do so without resorting to hysterical hyperbole like that.

Oh, you mean things like....

...you are going to go around screaming "Traitor!" at everyone with whom you disagree.

The scary thing here is that there are lots and lots of conservatives (like you) who think exactly that...but I guess it's OK, you all being on a mission from God and all that.

Sorry the distinction was too subtle for you: is English your second language? I'll make allowances if it is.

So where is the magic temporal line? Oh, I know...it stops when it is a Republican in office. You crack me up.

And that's just on page 2. Let me know when your circle-stroke with Mark is through, mmkay?

If they accept money, they are crooked. The vote on any given issue is not relevant.

The details aren't public yet, but all PACs donate $$ to polticians and their endless campaigns. What's on the table with Abramhoff is a quid pro quo buying of votes, which is illegal.

Are they all crooked? Well, hell yes, I didn't even think that was in question. But what was illegal and what wasn't is yet to be determined, unless you're David and Mark and already see to the very bottom of every conservative's black, black heart through clairvoyance.

Why are you afraid to answer the question?

I did answer it. I said it was a separate issue.

Refer to post #29 as necessary.

Sorry, but you are lying. What law did Cindy Sheehan break that justifies your use of the word "Traitor?"

Answer the question, Jocko. You used the word...back it up.

Sorry Mark, that's a separate issue, and using your precedent in post #29, that closes the conversation. End of story. You don't have to explain yourself, and I don't have to explain myself. Period. Full stop. End of friggin' line.

Unless you feel like actually answering the issue you dodged and change the precedent, you're gonna have to make do with "separate issue." You know, like "no controlling legal authority." It's a real show-stopper.

By the way, Mark, speaking of separate issues, what do you think of Sheehan's possible run for Dianne Feinstein's senate seat this fall? I presume it would be a primary challenge. Hard to see her running on the GOP ticket.

Think she has a chance? Think she should win? Why do you think she's trying to unseat a powerful senator?

Sorry, but you are lying again. What law did Cindy Sheehan break that justifies your use of the word "Traitor?"

Answer the question, Jocko. You used the word...back it up. I answered your question...are you too much of a coward to answer mine?

I'm answering your question the same way you answered mine.

It's a separate issue, and of no importance.

Your complaints, while directed at me, are really about yourself. The more you scream, the deafer you'll become. Can't you see that? Are you that blind? Is your world really that awful of a place?

I like to think it is. ;)

You are answering by selectively quoting my post? Do I speak for you? Wow...don't tempt me!

I answered your question...and I did NOT only say it was a separate issue. I explained exactly what I meant.

Now it's your turn: What law did Cindy Sheehan break that justifies your use of the word "Traitor?"

Feel free to apply whatever labels you choose to people with whom you disagree. We are a nation of laws though aren't we? But don't let that stop you.

Reasonable people should be able to differ over political opinions. Too bad some are unable to do so without resorting to hysterical hyperbole like that. I guess it's no surprise why Coulter is so popular. Some of her ideas are will represented here.

We do differ over political opinions all the time, mostly reasonably. I think Coulter is a self serving wh*re to money, and if you think my ideas represent her then it is you who is being hysterical. From what I read most people here share that opinion, even if they think she has a nice ass.

Why do you bring up this "nation of laws" issue anytime there is a disagreement?

That woman in Venezuela is a disgrace to her son and her country. She should have stayed in Texas, where we could just feel sad for her.

I agree...but I don't see where Jocko's word "traitor" applies.

I think he agreed with me. It's just an insult that seemed appropriate. Substitute "disgrace" then and stop being so pedantic. I suspect Jocko will agree.

So...Jocko can demand I answer the same---already answered by me---question over and over again and you only complain that I am being pedantic?

That's fair. Let him speak for himself.

I agree...but I don't see where Jocko's word "traitor" applies.

Follow Elind's wisdom, Mark. You're not so blinded by hatred where he's concerned, and somehow the sweet song of reason penetrates the dense layers of frothing hysteria that define your existence.

And don't blame me for outmaneuvering you with your own words, you make it so easy, after all.

Oh this is just too much. You "answer" that it's a separate issue and that's kosher, but heaven help the person who uses that against you? What a dishonest person you are, Mark, seriously.

That's fair. Let him speak for himself.

I'll keep my own counsel on what's fair, thanks anyway Mark.

If you insist on blathering further, there are now a host of unaddressed issues on the table, "separate" though they may be, awaiting your tender mercies. How about Sheehan's possible senate run, for instance?

If you were engaging in hyperbole as Elind says, just say so.

The "fair" comment was addressed to Elind, not you, genius.
