Dr. Colin Ross has decided to cancel his upcoming conference where he had intended to expose the CIA mind control experiments including MKULTRA, oh there is also some CIA connection to satanic cults and stuff....
BUT now people don't want to appear or can't come because they don't want them there any longer and it's all probably because the CIA is going to kill them or something and they don't have enough tin foil for every one, well no one really knows.

Here's the notice from his web site:

"Dear Friends,

Well, we've had some interesting things happen in trying to get this conference to happen. It would seem that the third of our proposed venues has backed out inexplicably after being very warm and welcoming to us. Also, one of our speakers has had to pull out unexpectedly, and we suspect that at least one of our speakers has been threatened. This was not entirely unexpected, due to the subject matter of the conference.

With all that in mind, and with the conference date fast approaching, we feel that it would be best to postpone it to a later date and have an even better conference as time does not currently permit us to give you the best experience possible.

All those who bought tickets will be given complete refunds. And a huge thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make this conference happen, especially our wonderful volunteer team and all the speakers. We've received a tremendous amount of support and are very appreciative.

Thank You,

The MK ULTRA Mind Control Conference Team"

If I were in charge of a successful NWO mind control operation, the first meme I'd instill in the public would be "mind control by the NWO is a thing to be desired".

That doesn't seem to have happened.

I can't tell by these posts what the Official JREFers standpoint on MK-ULTRA is. Do they think it didn't happen and was woo or do they think it did happen, but is blown out of proportion?

Add in "and mostly failed at its intended purposes" in the middle there, and I think you have it.

There's little doubt that this project did exist, and had as at least some of its goals things that could be reasonably defined as "mind control", but they failed at even those modest goals, and those goals have then been blown out of proportion into belief in full-on Government Controlled Zombies.

Is Dr. Colin Ross afraid of magicians too? : ;)

"....Ross pointed out that it was not just
psychiatrists and psychologists involved in the search for the
way to create a "psycho-civilized society" but also sociologists,
linguists, cyberneticists and other professionals (even a
magician or two ...."

Yeah it existed, but pretty much just proved that the government will spend their cash on anything.

If anything i would say MKULTRA is proof that the government is not smart enough to commit a conspiracy successfully.

It did happen but all it proved was that total "mind control" was fanciful but "screwing with peoples minds" was quite plausible.
