I was wondering the same thing. particularly about the artwork.

The art is to a very high standard, but The way the faces are drawn makes me wonder if the artist is maybe a little racist.

What I mean is that they look all look a little evil to me, or at the very least unpleasant people to know.

I just don't know. Many artists tend to draw faces that resemble their own. Perhaps the artist looks like these drawings? :)

There is actually a kernel of wisdom in that one. People who have had terrible things done to them often let themselves be consumed by hate or the lust for revenge. That means the hurt lasts for their entire lives. It is better if they can let it go and live a happy life.

Of course, Chick ruins what good there is in his usual fashion. The best part is the end, where he teaches us that God will kill our enemies for us if we do the right thing and forgive them. :D

If a kid commits suicide and his body reveals physical and sexual abuse then its my guess the bad guy would get caught especially in this day and time. The tract goes overboard when it insinuates that the cops would protect the pervert at least if the abuse is outside the catholic church.
 
I had no idea that pushing a child to convert to your religion was the best way to help them recover from being sexually abused.

Heres a website that suggests that catholics actually worship some pagan goddess instead of Mary. Mr. Chick is probably right but not because the catholics are worshipping the goddess instead of mary. The pagan goddess is actually mary. Christianity is merely a mixture of judaism and a pagan religion which has virgin birth which is similar to pre christian faiths. Jack Chick is right but not the way he thinks he is.

"Upon" instead of "into" isn't usually how that kind of thing works, but does seem to be what the illustration shows...
