Just imagine you're Jack chick for a moment.

You know the world is ruled by the devil. Everything, everyone in power, is directly or indirectly controlled by satan. Remeber, even George W Bush was not True Christian enough for Jack, never mind his cabinet.
Not only that, but everyone and everything is directly out to get him because he is one of the few trying to bring out the only true way of god, and give the disproportionate difference between sinners and saved satan can put as much helpers on that as he pleases.
Since his god knows all and constantly monitors his mind, he can never even think sinful thoughts. And nearly everything fun in the world to him is sinful. The only outlet he has is writing his tracts so he can convert one more little soul.
If he manages to stay the course and die a true christian, his reward will be a heaven where he will be even more closely monitored by a spiteful angry god whose only motive seems to be punishing people. And he'll share this heaven with people like himself and an assorted amount of murderers/peadophiles/rapists and what not who are never punished for their awful crimes because in the last minute of their live they uttered a magic phrase. At the same time you know that a massive amount of good people are burning in hell because you were not a strong enough preacher to convert them. And for the rest of eternity you're NEVER allowed to enjoy sex again. Ever. (after all, no need to procreate in heaven, and that's the only reason for sex)

If you truly believed this, would you be happy? Or sane?
 
I'd never heard of Jack Chick before I came to this forum. Does he have any real presence outside the US?
 
Magic 8 ball says 'signs point to yes'. Too bad he's such an artist. His talents are wasted on the dreck he turns out. Wish he'd do some better porn, like the family of god tracts had.

I am obsessed with Jack Chick. He's for everything I'm against but he is able to demonstrate his garbage in a graphic artistic way whereas I am not. There is a website devoted to rebutting Jack Chick and the spoof on Jack Chicks anti evolution tract called "whose Your Daddy" is a classic.

I'm not the only person with a compulsion to read and rebut Jack Chicks tracts. Go to youtube and you will see many other people there who feel the same way I do. Just put Jack Chick into youtubes search engine and you'll see what I mean.
 
And yet no one cares. For all his efforts, the man is a minor internet joke. Do we really need a new thread every time you read a new piece of his drivel?

There are only 42 countries listed in the "outside the US" tab on his website (I counted the UK as one although it's listed as Great Britain, NI, Scotland, England and UK - but all with one distribution address in Scotland). But does that translate to a real presence - people taking his nonsense seriously outside the US?

I hope not. Europe has a high percentage of atheists among its population and these absurd little comics probably provide a small measure of amusement and nothing else.

There are a ton of religious nuts out there. Are you angry with this guy because he draws cartoons? Was Allah originally the Moon god? Did you research this? Are you trying to get into one of his cartoons? Is that why you keep bringing him up?

I'd have to say he personally has very little presence inside the US outside a small circle of fanatics (I'd never heard of him before I joined this forum, while I had heard of other fundamentalist media personalities), although unfortunately others have "ideas" about the world that are much the same as his.

You're giving him far more publicity than he's achieving on his own.
