This Cartoon epitomizes the simplistic perspective that was common in the 80s. Drug problem: just tell them to say no. Whole lot easier than dealing with pesky problems live poverty, unemployment and social inequalities.

I need an intervention from Jack Chicks cartoons? Well actually I'm running out of the good stuff. Most if not all of whats left is kinda droll.

I was listening to Atheist experience on Youtube and matt had this analogy. God caused a virgin to give birth to himself so that he could sacrifice himself to himself so that he could modify his own rules.

Atheiest Experience is a good program and I highly recommend it.

I never even thought about this aspect of the Chick tracks, but this is a very good point.
 
You know what I always found damn funny with Chicks tract ? Satan is *always* represented as an idiot showing his cards too early, or having incredibly convoluted scheme which make sinner see the light and repent.

You know what ? Satan is showing the right way to kids, in a round about way. That's what i get from chicks tract.
 
You would not have a hard time convincing me that was really Chick if I didn't think it was a spoof. haha, that was pretty hilarious though.

Can't he focus for a single tract any more? It's supposed to be about Muslims, but then he goes on about the Catholic Church. Focus! Pick one topic and stick to it! Doesn't he have an editor?

And anyway it's always amusing when an American talks about who has right to what patch of land by basis of being there first.
 
If you base it who was there first, it goes to the people the Jews committed genocide against upon leaving Egypt in Exodus. But hey, I guess that was OK to cleanse every man, woman, and child from the land since God promised it to them. Now the Muslims, brothers and sisters of the Jews, want to do the same to them.

And of course if Arabs are, as Chick suggests, offspring of Esau and Israel is Jacob then Jacob cheated Esau twice, first out of his birthright and then from his father's blessings.

But come to think of it I have never met an Arab with red hair all over.
 
How could anyone who reads that cartoon come away actually wanting to worship God? He seems like sort of an asshat.

But he promises to be slightly less of a jerk to you if you swear to love him forever, on pain of eternal torture if you don't. Who wouldn't want a relationship with that?

I'm amazed by the number of people who seem to think that all the Jews just up and left Israel after the Romans razed the temple, leaving an empty land into which a bunch of Muslim Arabs moved.
