Cheap God is not Great - Christopher Hitchens

[JimD]

At the moment it's selling for 99p on amazon.co.uk

I have to munge the url as I've not posted enough, so add the www to

amazon.co.uk/God-not-Great-Everything-ebook/dp/B0064M9WHK/ref=pd_sim_sbs_kinc_1

I don't know how long the offer will last, and I've already bought a copy, but it could do some of you some good...

Have a good new year/solstice/season/life...

[Baloney]

Thanks for the heads up!

By the way, that's UK Amazon only (http://www.amazon.co.uk), not US (http://www.amazon.com)

[Wowbagger]

Well, Cheap God might not be great. But, I hear Expensive God is terrific!

Argh!

Sorry about that. I should have made it clear, but I was fixated on getting the link in without having made fifteen posts...

Though you have to admit that a cheap god wouldn't be great.

He doesn't actually own those. He just gets a license fee for use of his name on building (like with so many "Trump" buildings). The shamans pay the fee by throwing all the donation money into the air, and whatever God lets fall back to the ground, they keep as a kickback.

[Multivac]

Thanks for the heads up. Just bought it.

Buying God is like buying anything: If you want the best, expect to have to pay for it
