Chariots of the Gods theme park?!?!?

I read the press release, and basically they're trying to "brand" Chariots of the Gods into the theme park business. They're in the "look for land and funding" stage at the moment.

*Charlie Brown sigh*

At least they're not building it in Orlando. That much b.s. might cause Florida to sink into the ocean.

Jungfrau Park is an amusement park located near Interlaken, Switzerland. It opened as the Mystery Park in 2003, and closed in November 2006 due to financial difficulties. The park was designed by Erich von Däniken, and consisted of seven pavilions, each of which explored one of several great "mysteries" of the world

It probably won't go anywhere. Ark Park has pretty much collapsed due to lack of funding and interest (last I checked anyways) and it had a built in fervent fanbase to exploit and a local government falling over itself to spend taxpayer money on it. I can't imagine there are enough people into Chariots of the Gods.

Of course, it'd be hilarious if it did get built.
