Certifying the Vote.

Trump has apparently ordered the National Guard in. Of course what Trump says and what he does seldom match up and the jaded cynic in me wonders which side they are being ordered to support?

Are you familiar with "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas"? Sometimes people have changes of heart. It could be the hearing of people singing a song despite not having any Xmas stuff, or it might be the hearing of a bloodthirsty mob screaming for you to be handed over. Even Pence, consummate **** weasel that he is, has got to have some feelings about that.
 
The 11 GOP congress members who were refusing to certify the Biden vote need to be removed from office.
 
I understand they've asked Vladimir Putin for a response to events in Washington but he can't stop laughing long enough to make a statement. In all seriousness how will the USA ever again be able to criticize the democracy, or lack there of, in other countries?
 
This is actually a neat ending to the Trump infection. His tantrums have led to this. In years to come school children will be reading about Trump, the US Traitor.

A few minutes ago, the commentators on ABC News started discussing impeachment. They brought up something I hadn't thought of. Part of impeachment can include a prohibition on ever holding office again. Seems pretty appropriate to me.


I doubt it will happen, but it will be very interesting to see how the Republicans respond to this. I don't expect them to go as far as they ought to, which would be to support removal from office, but will they acknowledge their role in this fiasco in any way?

I have heard that quote from Lincoln many times before. but Biden when used it it sent chills down my back.
