I do like this bit of circular reasoning. Keep to the law, but don't actually acknowledge any law. For the bits about what IS common law and what isn't seem to be lacking.

So, if all statute law is no longer enforceable, and complying with statute is an act of illegal assault and fraud against the people of Canada, if I was to drive my insured car whilst completely sober and wearing my seatbelt, whilst simultaneously obeying all relevant speed restrictions, I could be arrested for fraud and assault...?

Why yes, yes you could. Finally we see the wisdom in Quebec having minimum speed laws on their highways; it makes it possible to disobey the law without being reckless about it! Too bad it involves getting everywhere late, however :(

It looks like they're talking about enforcing statutes, not complying with them yourself.
