I must say Azrael I do agree with you. I do not like it that anyone called Randi scum. Randi has done a excellent job in exposing con artists and the like. I have nothing but the highest respect for Mr. Randi. I myself became a skeptic once I started seeing the tricks I learned were being performed by some as psychic tricks when they are nothing more than smoke and mirrors. I do not believe in any superstition or paranormal event, but, hopefully someone can prove us wrong! I don't care who I want someone to prove me wrong by taking the test and winning the million and than having science accept the results.. We would have discovered something wonderful! Missed were I called Randi scum and would like a link to were that is.
I think he is but I never have posted it anywhere.

In fact I think allot worse of him.
But that is the topic of the next video.

Been there, done that, skipped the post card. Watched the videos, went to the website... [yawn].

Still didn't explain why it has to be done on "Halloween". There is nothing special about that day. Anything this spectacular should be able to be done on any day of the week.

Seriously, how could Jim's video prove the undoing of someone unrelated to the content of the video, such as daSkeptic? That doesn't even make any sense, and your subtitle on the JREF forum lists you at the "Critical Thinker" level... the irony...

This is exactly why he refuses to be tested by parties over which he has no control. Were he to perform his little demonstration under proper observing conditions, on multiple days, both on Halloween itself and otherwise, I predict there would be no significant difference between the data gathered on the various days except perhaps that which is explainable by chance. Of course it would be great if he could prove me wrong.

Wow, a cut direct. I feel like I should be insulted or impressed.

Yeah... not so much. I was hoping you were going to spout normal pagan crap of the veil between the worlds being thin blah, blah, blah. Easy to communicate with spirits... blah, blah, blah. Unify the world with the paranormal, blah, blah, blah. Then I started thinking that Halloween really is an Western thing. Most other religions and cultures have different rituals, and the "real" spiritualists and "serious" pagans do things astrologically (which this year is Nov 7).

So the only logical conclusion that I can draw is that you are a publicity seeking fraud.
 
Oh sorry Jim! Let me be a little more clear. If anyone called Randi scum I would strongly disagree with it. I have not heard you say nor seen you post it. So I apologize if I came off bad! =] I am sorry to say even though I like your tricks and I will be watching your seance project. I do not think you have any paranormal powers. I do not think that you actually communicate with the dead. I am sorry that you think low of Randi. I will not back down from my opinion though. I think Randi is a great and genuine man.

Jim I do wish you the best of luck with your career and the test if you take it!

Once again I am looking forward to the Seance Project.
 
Why is everybody giving Callahan so much attention?
Why not just say "Here's the sort of proof we'll accept, please come back when you've got it"

Don't we all have more interesting things to talk about than feeding this troll?
