Calgary presentation, MRI: Window to the soul

Local Calgarian Dr Randy Tyson, from the Canadian Research Council, will be giving a presentation titled MRI: Window to the Soul. Dr. Tyson will give an overview of how MRI works, why it is so useful in diagnosing disease and how it can be used to study thought using recent examples from the literature. In keeping with the theme of skepticism, a short discussion of neurotheology will demonstrate why it is a pseudoscience whose claims exceed any possible experimental design to demonstrate.
