I really like this one. Or 1st TAM @ TAM. As a TAM noob myself, I think these buttons would be a fantastic help. Booze probably wouldn't be a bad idea either.

My strategy is to sign up for any and every social event available since I am new to the forums as well. So far I've signed up for bowling & volunteered to help out with packets & registration etc.

Any other ideas to help us 1st timers get involved?

Packet stuffing is great. You'll spend several hours with a group of people before the conference even starts, instant friends.

I like this one too. It'll be my first TAM, although I did go on TAA5 this year. I'm torn between putting 2010 or 8 on it to make it more "collectible" and leaving it the way it is so it turns into an annual tradition. Either way, I want my button!
