Bush's Iraq Speech 5/24

Hilarious performance...should have been titled "One hundred and one ways to pronounce Abu Ghraib".

My favorite was his first attempt. He got a little better at it the more he had to say it.

Cute, and ditto to all the others who picked up and ran with the joke.

But I can't be the only one who finds this annoying? This thread started with three posts by Subgenious, all posted within five minutes, a total of 6 lines of text. Is he just trying to boost his post count for some reason?

Somehow everytime Bush opens his mouth, he makes himself a very easy target of criticism.

So, Bush'll tear down the Abu Ghraib prison. Obvisously this was an evil building, probably possessed by SATAN (or maybe haunted by the ghosts of Saddam's sons). This evil building somehow corrupted the freedom loving (and giving) American liberators and made them do those terrible things.

Yeah, that's weird. Happens to me too. My eye just sort looses focus and before I know it I'm on the next post.

Yes, didn't you know Bill Gates gives you 6 cents for every post?
How long you gonna hijack the thread with your pet peeve? We get it, it annoys you and you skip over them.

"America and other countries will continue to provide technical experts to help Iraq's ministries of government."

"The eventual goal is an Iraqi army of 35,000 soldiers in 27 battalions fully prepared to defend their country. "

I can just imagine the number of backdoors the U.S. military is going to throw into the military software they are installing for Iraq.

I hope some of those technical experts are burying GPS beacons all over the place. We will need them to help target the dictator who takes over when we leave.

I wish I could believe that we don't know where OBL and all the others are hiding. Just follow the guns, drugs and money and you'll find him. Oh wait, current administration pals, never mind.

I got an idea, instead of hackers downloading porn and credit card numbers, why don't they take the challenge to crack into some terrorist or Saudi files and make them public? That would be more fun than compromising Unix code or an IRS database, wouldn't it?

The secret password is "Joshua".

Speaking as a "grey hat" type of 'hacker', I think you'll find the problem there is that any sort of important government files are generally not accessible via the Internet.
And there's not much a private citizen can do to intercept terrorist communication that the NSA isn't already doing.

I can imagine what the NSA is doing....but that info isn't public. If there really were ties, say, from certain businesses or governments to terrorists...why is it secret?

The money is going and coming somewhere. Would it not be in our nation's best interest to let us know an ally or business is funding or supporting the organization out to get us?
