Building demolished from the top down.

Now you come around with the personal attacks calling me an insect! I'm quite sure we all know what happened. He was crushed. Others died on impact. Others must have burned to death in the ensuring fireball. Yet some others plunged to their death.

Please don't disregard a very valid questioning I'm putting forward by pulling the sentimental line. If someone is an insect here it is you for using his death as a shield not to answer the question.
"pulling the sentimental line?"
********.

You are pissing on his death and attempting to make it look like "hey I am just asking questions." ********.

You are trying to take this mans death (which is recorded, which doesn't have any sounds which are anywhere near an explosive) and trying to twist it to support your ******** fantasy.

If you have a question, ask it. Don't try to then use his death and make your cheap ******** statement about crush up vs crush down. He *********** DIED and your willy nilly ******** attitude is pissing and ******** on his grave.

The line goes dead shortly afterward. Not that he drops it. It goes dead as if the cell phone is destroyed. But we are only a fraction of a second into the collapse. What could have caused the cell phone to go dead so soon?
Any number of things. His phone goes out when he dies. How long do you expect it to remain intact and broadcasting? Are you upset you don't hear him being fully crushed?

argument from ignorance noted.

Once again that supports my theory that something fell on them early in the collapse.

This is what makes you a *********** worm. Nothing in that audio supports your claim. But hey, twist it and try to make it fit.

Or maybe an explosion occurred near them killing them and destroying the apparatus. They clearly state that they are near a window.

and not one sound of an explosion.
maybe little elves ate his face off.
maybe a wormhole in space and time opened and all the "victims" were taken to a happy place.

evidence. got any? didn't think so.

bump for JM. YOu seem to have missed this.

Please note one of the calls is on the 83rd floor (you know... just above the impact zone and the fire zone... where you claim they could have had explosives to start the collapse.

This was difficult to listen to. I'll bet the 911 operators are haunted by this the rest of their lives.

It makes it all the more appalling that truthers are so intent on "improving" the 9/11 narrative by adding explosions, black-ops agents, and money-grubbing Jews rubbing their hands together greedily while they plot the destruction of mankind.

Sickening.

Once again you're pulling the sentimental line and being an insect at it too. We've been asking questions since the get go. Since we started talking about the hijacking, the plane impacts, the fires. People died there too. There are conversations from the airplane too. They died too. Please don't be a bug and use this phone call as a means to do a personal attack on me. It's very dishonest on your part. Those "*" should really be addressed to you.

Nothing in that audio supports your claim.

While it is clear that he could have been knocked unconscious during the collapse. Following the crush up theory that not all floors were destroyed immediately upwards nor downwards and that thus he was not immediately crushed. The cell phone could have continued to transmit background noise until it was caught by the crush up.

The fact that the cell phone is destroyed so soon into the collapse means that the floor collapsed very early on. Thus supporting my theory that the upper floors were dropping early on the collapse initiation. So quite on the contrary the recording quite supports my claim.

Oh and btw before you respond with another one of your rants remember that for every missing outer perimeter column there are dead people. For every missing or damaged core column there are dead people. For every sagging floor and fire there are burnt people. We are all aware of what we are talking about here. So don't take this poor man's call and use it as a shield not to address the questions nor to evade the fact that your "evidence" is proving to support my claims now. Don't be a bug.

Maybe they missed it. The were not looking for explosives anyway. Then there is also the molten metal. Which of course has been explained by other reasons. But that doesn't exclude that among those molten metal remains there were some with real thermite damage. And now with all the evidence shipped away an reprocessed, well it's to late for you to go out and prove conclusively that there is NO evidence.

There is no evidence. You're simply making a long list of speculative excuses as to why that is.

Without evidence, all you present is the ill-informed speculation who doesn't know very much about the subject at hand, and doesn't seem to care about the details.

About on par for a persistent truther circa 2011. You presented a number of bare assertions, were challenged on the lack of evidence, and are now falling back on unevaluated inequality fallacies. It's really quite pathetic: the steel was examined, none of it failed due to the cutter charges that you allege, (duh!) but there is ample evidence of extensive fires and damaged SFRM.

A rational, mature person comes to the obvious conclusion that the evidence supports fire-induced collapse; the irrational contrarian insists it must be secret explosives.(that would be you)

Since your position is irrational and not based on evidence or technical knowledge, you will come to the wrong conclusion every time. That's unfortunate for you. And it ain't smart neither.

maybe it was pixie dust.
Could be! They were not looking for pixie dust.

maybe it was mothra
Could be! They were not looking for mothra
maybe it could have been a DEW

Yes, yes, there were old people in and around the building! They are visible in the video footage.
maybe it could have been 20000 ninjaneers.
Could be! They were not looking for lumberjacks,,, err ninjaneers(??)

Your conclusion is erroneous on so many levels.

The call being dropped is not conclusive that the phone was destroyed at that time. There are a myriad of different reasons why a call gets dropped that do not even involve a physical disruption to the phone.
It does also include the phone being dropped and a desk or other item hitting it, ceiling and light fixtures coming loose and falling. You do recall that the tilt of the upper block increased dramatically at collapse right? what effect would that have on the contents of the building?

In fact you acknowledge that "he could have been knocked unconscious during the collapse" but then argue that the phone should survive until crush up reaches it? What causes him to become unconscious prior to that?

But not all the steel was examined and let me recall that my theory doesn't require charges on the core or perimeter columns. So undamaged steel is perfectly ok with my theory. More so my theory only requires the release of a few floors. And in regards to the SFRM, well wouldn't you expect it to be damaged after the fall of the building?

Nice opening statement that says nothing, but sure sets the mood right so people start thinking negatively of my position. Good tactic there, but we are all smarter than that. Try harder next time.

Oh wow and they just happened to occur at that moment, what a coincidence. So some of the myriad of reasons occurred, but not the one most probable: the fall of the floor/ceiling with projections comming out the windows. Maybe you're from the camp that believes in mini-nukes. Hey an EMP could have taken out the electronics in a phone! Oh wait no, maybe a subspace ray? Or maybe something more plausible like the roof falling down as we see the projections coming out the windows in those levels.

Devices like the phone are much more resistant than a person. I've flown over the handlebar of my motorcycle and my laptop and cellphone (in my backpack) both survived. Had I not had a helmet and protective body armor I'd fared another fate entirely.

Flying objects could drop a person unconscious, but hardly damage a cell phone.

So? There is no evidence to support your theory. The only evidence there is argues conclusively against your theory. Therefore your theory is a highly unlikely proposition. At least to rational people.

The SFRM situation pertains to its damage as a contributor to steel failure and collapse of the buildings. There's plenty of good evidence for that, and the fires, well, they're not a theory, they're a fact.

Fact-based theories trump fantasy-based theories like yours every time. That's why we don't believe in the flat-earth anymore. Except for irrational people who still think the earth is flat - and yes, they're out there!
They are essentially your brethren.

I do get a kick out of the fact that you managed to type that out, and completely fail to catch the delicious irony in your words. Excellent post, my friend, after a rip roaring start like that we are certainly to learn much from your the remainder of your post.

Which appears to suggest that the only way to drop a call is for the cell phone to be destroyed.

DERP

Plus your theory is not based on any technically proficient analysis. It is pretty worthless.

Just to illustrate how we feel when discussing these issues with fact-deniers like yourself, go to the forums of the flat earth society and try convincing the die-hards that the earth is a sphere.
Maybe then you'll understand how you're behaving.

It isn't the only way, but it sure is the most probable given the circumstances. First of all he's held the call for quite some time by then. He is not moving so changing cells isn't an issue. He's clearly not getting hanged up by the other party. There is no hint of it running out of battery. Background noise builds up and then things go silent in a fraction of a second. That is pretty conclusive that something devastating happen in that time frame and it was not the crushup, it's too short a span of time. There is also never a hint of tremors or any other indicator that the structure was failing.

Gee, and my technical writing instructor always said to begin with a summary.
Guess you expected an opening joke.

Oh wow and they just happened to occur at that moment, what a coincidence. So some of the myriad of reasons occurred,
In a situation in which the phone has begun dropping(along with everything else in the building including the person holding it) , a situation in which steel is being torn apart nearby, a situation in which electrical disturbances are affecting the general area of Manhattan and many others on the ground experienced dropped calls.
Yes!
but not the one most probable: the fall of the floor/ceiling with projections comming out the windows.
According to you and only you.

Maybe you're from the camp that believes in mini-nukes. Hey an EMP could have taken out the electronics in a phone! Oh wait no, maybe a subspace ray?

Like I said C.Ranke and J.Wood are my heroes.

Or maybe something more plausible like the roof falling down as we see the projections coming out the windows in those levels
Ceiling falling down, yeah I could buy that. Office furniture sliding around, yeah I could buy that. In my experience things do slide on inclined surfaces and seismic movement is seen in many videos to cause light fixtures and ceiling tiles to fall.

Then again IF this poor man was on the same floor as those ejections AND they were caused by a sudden wind due to pressurization that too would add to his horror and cause items to take flight.

There is no report of trusses showing explosive of thermite damage though whereas the floor was tilted and when collapse began the upper section would have been experiencing heavy buffeting akin to earthquake seismic activity.

Devices like the phone are much more resistant than a person. I've flown over the handlebar of my motorcycle and my laptop and cellphone (in my backpack) both survived. Had I not had a helmet and protective body armor I'd fared another fate entirely.

In your back pack you say? Seems you got lucky and/or the backpack itself kept the devices intact. You did not say whether or not your phone was attempting to maintain a call when this occured either but I doubt it was. In my experience (30 years of electronics maintanance) devices that normally are not subject to sharp impact tend to do odd things when they are, even if they begin working correctly again afterwards.

I think we can safely assume that his phone was not in a holster or his pocket or a backpack.

OTOH I have dropped my phone and had the battery come loose, and I slipped on ice a few years back and landed on my back. Few sore muscles but all better by the end of the day. Sure the phone was not destroyed but until I reset the battery it was as useful for making phone calls as a block of wood.

No hint of tremors or indicator that the structure was falling?????
He was on a floor that was tilting (I'll edit later with the degree) and which increased its tilt just prior to initial collapse!
Yet you would have us believe that there is no indication of anything happening because he does not specifically describe it!
Another, gross appeal to ignorance. No mention of shaking so you substitute your own preference for what can be concluded despite other evidence to the contrary.

ETA: an 8 degree tilt at collapse initiation, which if my math is correct meant that if one were standing at the outer core columns the floor at the perimeter would be about 14 feet below your level.

Molten Metal equals Molten Steel in Trutherland.

If there was "molten steel", Truthers have to explain why there's lack of melted gold & silver:

http://www.internationalskeptics.com/forums/showthread.php?p=6852236#post6852236

Most reports of molten metal to begin with are post collapse, and come a long time after the fact - weeks, many months. Any thermite in the debris piles will have required a sufficiently intact ignition device and sufficient temperatures to initiate the reaction. The alternative is proposing that the "thermite" burned continuously for weeks to months on end. The time frame of the reports invalidates thermite on its own merits, since a thermite reaction can at best be expected to last no more than a few minutes maximum; instead that leaves only one heat source: the debris pile fires, none of which were sufficiently hot enough to melt pools of steel but more than sufficient to melt other metals with lower melting points. In other words, it's another area of speculation that always tends to do nothing but waste time.

Once again, projections mean some sort explosive. But then you say your theory doesnt involve explosives. Which is it?

Completely different situation entirely. He had it out, in his hand. Who knows what actually happened in that room. He probably dropped the phone in panic.

Flying objects could drop a person unconscious, but hardly damage a cell phone.

Unless they hit the phone first. Who said he went unconscious?

On a side note, that video truly made my heart sink.

And I LOVE your last bit there... about the cell phone having fallen free until the crush up. What an insect you are. This man DIED on the phone to people who were trying to save him. Those were HIS LAST WORDS before he ws horribly and horrendously crushed to death.

It is pretty odd how truthers will play the "thousands murdered" card in an attempt to generate anger toward The Government™, but so readily dismiss an individual's death as a hoax when the specific circumstances of that death are inconvenient to their fantasy.
