Going deeper, we now need a special digital converter to get a non-cable signal. I'm not sure if that's the rabbit ears (antenna) you are referring to. The old ones won't work. But then, I haven't watched a major network show in at least ten years, so we all have our things.

Probably. Look up "rabbit ears" on any retail site and you'll see what I mean. Just make sure you get one with a built-in amplifier, which allows you to get more channels. I don't watch much TV either, which is why I quit cable and got that to get me by. It's more than enough.
