Broken Clocks and Physcics

The best analogy I've ever thought of, I thought of after seeing another post by a JREF Forum member where he stated "Even a broken clock is right twice a day." Now what if we get more specific? The number of times that the clock is correct decrease exponentially as it becomes more accurate. Add the day to the clock and it is right twice a week. Add the date and it's right AT MOST five times a month, most likely it isn't right that often but lets give the clock the benefit of the doubt. Finally lets say the clock has the month too, that means its only right AT MOST five times in one month in a year, but possibly not right at all.

This goes on until you add the four digit year you see that the clock is never right again. What is the point of all this? It is to show, in common sense terms, how mysticism works. The more ambiguous they are the better chance they have of being correct. Of course, people will point out to me that the time of the clock is correct twice a day still, but everything else is utterly wrong.

No no no. You'll see if you divide the year by 4 and add the day and divide the month by 14 you'll get much more accurate results.
