What else is different about British conservatives compared to American ones?

Quite a bit. The Conservative in the US right now are ******** crazy.

Do British conservatives care about abortion?

No, abortion is a religious issue and abortions are readily available in the UK.

It is a slightly different situation in Ireland, where the Catholics have had more influence.

Do they care about gun rights?

As our police do not routinely carry guns, the only issue with guns is illegal guns. There is more of an issue with knives.

Do they deny the theory of evolution and climate science?

No. Do they do enough? Not really IMHO.

Do they pander to the religious?

No, ironically it was Tony Blair, the Labour PM who pandered more to religion is setting up more religious schools.

Do they want to abolish the NHS?

I personally think covertly they do, as they are quite keen on the whole competition/free market thing, and they are trying to privatise everything.

However, this is not a favourable political position and as they are pushing this agenda, I don't think they will have the majority next term.

What else is different about them?

They are actually attempting to balance the budget in the UK and deal with the deficit, including reducing the military.
