I don't know about the UK, but I see this a lot in the U.S., from the far left: the only way one can be concerned about immigration is if one is racist.

That attitude is incredibly condescending and counter-productive.
 
I mean, seriously. Has Boston not done enough damage to Britain that they're still at it centuries later???

 
K, sorry to intrude, but for some reason this is a huge topic on my (American) football forum. The conservativeso there seem to think that the "Libs" over there are engaging in voter fraud with sketchey ballots, & closing polls early.

You folk over there hearing similar things?

Perhaps. But the the success of a leave vote will cause undoubted economic damage to the UK and will see Scotland leave sooner rather than later. Why do so much damage? I think latent racism is the reason.

I was saying yesterday Scotland wont leave. Right now the difference is stark. We need to leave. We need to escape. ASAP.

This is remarkable to me. I'm Scottish. I'm SNP. I'm Pro-independence. Even given that everything happening tonight is a slap in the face to say we need to leave this Union.

With a 300k lead for Leave right now, I'd say accusations of fraud are well over-done.

Scotland may only be voting out of self-interest, but it is nevertheless a beacon of tolerance and rationality compared to the rest of the U.K.

Self interest i don't know. But it reflects the kind of ideological difference that people told us didn't really exist in 2014.
