And the sad part is, as loathsome as he turned out to be, we still would have been far better off had he and Kerry won rather than Bush and Cheney winning again. Good thing Karl Rove got out the homophobe vote to put that train wreck back in office for four more years.

The Corruption was widespread from the top down in the organization and well documented. The left just hates it when that happens and try to pretend it doesn't exist and never happened. Then they vilify those that shined a bit of light on the situation. It's oh so entertaining.

Each time the topic comes up, posters like you come out and try to deny it, whether out of ignorance or hopes that no one will challenge them.

The problem is that people didn't go against them in some righteous battle against corruption, they went against them for political reasons. That's not honorable, that's its own kind of corruption.

In the case of O'Keefe, his motivation was probably political inspired by the already known corruption of the organization. I have no problem with that.

Every action I saw against ACORN was politically motivated. I didn't see anyone doing it for grander reasons.

Moderates like me can tell that the "documented" corruption was for the most part forged.

O'Keefe was caught editing tapes, and finally committing a crime. The person at fault is solely the person who forged the evidence. Each bit of support for that is support for a forgery.
