Some PragerU types were out trying to claim that Lula only won because he had the Supreme Court extend the voting hours.

They ignore the fact that both parties called for the extended hours because of some transportation issues.

The mentality really changes when voting is required.

Gotta love the (usual) righty assumption that allowing more people to vote is something that just automatically works against them, as if their own supporters are somehow excluded from taking advantage of the same rules.

Bolsonaro: 56.1 million votes
Lula: 53.9 million votes

Round 2:
Lula: 64.1 million votes (+10.2M)
Bolsonaro: 59.8 million votes (+3.7M)

To give you an idea of how unlikely this is: all the eliminated candidates from round 1 got 9.33M VOTES COMBINED.

I don't have an exact source but apparently the later voting only added up to 35K votes being added, Lula won by over 4 million. It should be noted that both sides wanted extensions but Bolsonaro wanted them to only be extended in regions where he was more popular.
